This is because its meaningless to add up the balance.

There is no relationship between the summation of the amount spent and the balance.
4 example if you spend 1 naira first u get a balance of 49. If u spend another naira u get a balance of 48 naira.

You can see right away adding d balance will result to a ridiculous amount.

So when calculating expenses adding up the balance is pointless.
