Hi guys, you’re doing amazing work here
I’m currently in a dilemma o. I have one week till resumption to St. Lawrence college kingston campus for post graduate studies and I still haven’t gotten my Visa. My agent applied for it last week October, i did medicals and biometrics first week of November and since then I’ve been waiting.
I just paid 1st semester tuition but I’m yet to get a receipt of payment, could that be what is delaying approval? What do you advice i do pls ie if it keeps delaying. Do i defer to next session or can i resume late or can i opt for an online study while i wait.
Also in hopes of everything turning out well, i need help of getting an airbnb in kingston area ON. Can anyone help me with how i can go about this?

Hello Nairaland. I wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2022.

Please, I just submitted my application to University of Newfoundland for September 2022 intake. I've not been admitted yet, but I have hope.

So, I want to know what's the next step?

Gurus in the house please advise me or direct me to Nairaland thread that has that info. Thanks

Thank you so much sir/ ma. please is the total money you were charged 87k for both the visa and biometric fees? Thank you quote author=EyinjuGod post=109204440]

An access debit card should be fine.
I was charged 87k with access debit card.

You can apply with any of the portals, however, the new portal is pretty straight forward.[/quote]

I'm not sure this is how to reply a post in Nairaland but I'll try.

I used my Access Bank visa card for the payment.

The second school I applied to said they'll email me a mode of payment in three days time.

I hope that answered your question?

Start gathering your documents as you wait to be admitted. Once your offer comes, you apply for visa.

Please last questions
(1) what exactly are the documents that I'll be getting ready.

(2) How much do I need to have in my bank account before for a successful visa application

(3) I read about medical check in previous messages, when and how is that done?

Thank you.

Hello Arriva

It won't be a bad idea to apply now to avoid any kind of delay from IRCC on your application..

Even if you get your Visa early, you will have enough time to prepare yourself before your departure..

Peace

1. Check the first page of this thread and the documents of people that have been approved and work from there.

2. You should have your school fees, living expenses, flight and some more.

3. Upfront or on request medical. Upfront medical is when you go for your medical exams before it is requested, while some people wait for medical request before they go.

Wait for the gurus to answer for more clarification but Page 1 will really explain a lot if you check.
