You did not notice that part of the exchange with the QS? Abi that is the language of honest businessmen in your neck of the woods? Sign contract, collect 100% disbursement and then months later, start to define what the disbursement covers? Na so dem dey do business?

From evidence presented, there are two contracts in this project. The one you are talking about here is the second contract and the QS was not involved in the bid. The exchange between next and the QS here was based on the fact that he didn't have the original BOQ, only the contract sum, and could not accurately tell what and what were left off in the project to be refunded. Next felt his work was undervalued. This is were the QS could have explained his figures but he went silent and was left off.
