Baba collected 4 from us yet he is today's Voltron vs Algeria. Lol...

Hard to reconcile the Kamara in Goal then vs Now isn't it?

That's why I'm disappointed in the coach. You talk and talk about lacking creativity and then you start a tem with only one creativity... Chukwueze. What of he's caged, as I expect?

Both Ekong and Omeruo are error prone especially Omeruo that makes at least one mistake in a game. The Egyptians are not stupid. They will target them.. This same pair played at the last AFCON and werent convincing enough.

Lol. Awaziem would have covered up for Ekong but he's not starting the game. Nacho has a lot of work to do on the ball today. I just hope he's ready ..

I think this Coach Equeavon have a style of play
All he carries on his head is how the 1994 team plays and he still has gotten over it and wanna team up the current squad to play in like manner when everyone seems to have updated and add something new

Well let's support the team...me not expecting something different from the Equeavon I know

I wouldn't wanna share same roof with someone like you, because I'm a bit tempered and it gets worse when I have a nagging woman around me.

You complain a lot tufiakwa angry

Safari, what’s your moniker on Twitter?

The lineup is decent, give or take a few persons.

Still, their inclusion can be justified. I don't know why some people on this thread are weeping and gnashing their teeth, Twitter people are even happy about the line-up.

Looking forward to a good game.

The Lineup is decent. They gonna play with a lone DM (Ndidi). Aribo and Chuks will flank Iheanacho while Awoniyi plays as a lone Striker.

If you watch the Clip of Eguavoen tactics Analysis. He talks about spinal cord or something.... grin

Ekong, Ndidi, Iheanacho and Awoniyi gonna be the straight line he talks about. Rest gonna play off them.

Formation is kinda 4 - 1 - 3 - 1

First Shock of the Afcon: Leone stars stop African Champs.

Algeria wondering how Nigeria got 4 goals past this Mohamed Camara guy in Goal for Sierra Leone.

Algeria coaches and players be like:

"How did Nigeria do it? And the guy is clubless ooo"

Nigerians will also be wondering how this uncoordinated Sierra Leonean front line scored 4 against us grin

Acting like you're more Nigerian than others is not patriotism but i-too-sabism. Oversabi.

Nonsense.

Like say nor be winning all of us dey find and pray for.

If the team wins I'll pop some Bailey's here and drink my hearts out in happiness. That doesn't stop me from expressing my displeasure with the team selections.

Eguavoen is not different from Rorh, same thing complained about Gernot, same thing Eguavoen is doing....

No creative midfielder
Playing Aribo deep
Kelechi will be lost in the final third of the half because he would not see much ball to link with Awoniyi if Egyptian coach play a compact midfield game.
Starting Simon to assist in defensive duties (Rorh all over again) to limit his expressive play down the flank.

I pray and wish we anyhow win this match today because am seeing a very boring and frustrating match for the Eagles based on the tatic and personnel in play.

Pray all goes well for my super Eagles.

But I bet he and his shadow were in Goal today because that guy was a wall vs the Algerians' firepower...

Omeruo is the captain at his club. He has been exceptional for his team. Iheanacho needs to bring is A game else Egypt will dominate the midfield. I would have preferred Onyeka, Ndidi and Aribo's midfield with Iheanacho up top instead of Awoniyi. That midfield is too weak! Imo!

Omeruo is not Leganés first captain or even second captain ,so which captain you Dey talk about grin

that is a 4-1-4-1 formation with ndidi playing as a lone defensive midfielder. Something he's already used to at Liecester
