what do you expect Iheanacho kept banging goals in training
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by DABIGATRAN(m): 4:25pm On Jan 11, 2022
His analysis is very defective. Aribo does not play from the flanks.
Chukwueze and Simon are the wingers while Iheanacho supports Awoniyi up front.

Am I the only one who feels bad for criticizing Rohr for his 4-4 draw against Sierra Leone?
grin grin grin This Sierra Leone team is better than we thought

What type of footballing inferiority complex is this ?

So because Algeria drew 0-0 against Sierra Leone then we should now justify rohr nonsense against Sierra Leone?

Should I remind you that Nigeria threw away a 4 goal lead ?

The Lineup is decent. They gonna play with a lone DM (Ndidi). Aribo and Chuks will flank Iheanacho while Awoniyi plays as a lone Striker.

If you watch the Clip of Eguavoen tactics Analysis. He talks about spinal cord or something.... grin

Ekong, Ndidi, Iheanacho and Awoniyi gonna be the straight line he talks about. Rest gonna play off them.

Formation is kinda 4 - 1 - 3 - 1
Chief abeg why is naija starting with 10 men? When aribo become winger?

RohR is clueless geng

Perhaps Simon is starting to help out defensively against Salah? Since his defensive attributes are often highlighted and praised.

Just a lite preview on the lineup

We are playing a kind of 4-1-4-1 or a 4-4-1-1 variant of the 442.

Ndidi as the DM. Aribo to play central and contribute strongly to both defensive and offensive phases. This is why he starts ahead of Nwakali. Eguavoen must be banking on Aribo's workrate against the sleeky and slippery Pharoahs.

Iheanacho to play slightly behind Awo and in some attacking phases, alongside Awo.

I also hope Aribo is licenced to get forward a bit more and cause an attack overload alongside Nacho and Awo today when we are in attacking transitions.

Simon is obviously picked to aid Zaidu in keeping Salah quiet.

Our main attacking threat is likely to come from the Chukwueze-Aina right channel and also part of the threat is possibly gonna be through the middle via Iheanacho picking up gaps between the lines and syncing with Aribo to his side or behind and syncing with Awo uptop.

Ekong and Omeruo continue their tournament pairing from the 2019 Afcon.

Awaziem missing from the matchday squad is a shock. Maybe he picked up a knock coz on form, he is our best CB in this squad.

The other 3 missing from the matchday squad are Olayinka Peter, Noble John and Collins Jamilu.

The matchday squad can accommodate only 23 players per game day.

Good luck Super Eagles.

Soar to Victory. Let's roll. cool

You can never please them here. They must always find fault in the Lineup. I really don't understand this Thread anymore.

Instead of analysing the Lineup, strengths and weaknesses, its tears flowing like Jordan River everywhere.

Asin this thread eehnnnn....remove Moses use Ejuke, remove omeruo use awaziem, remove ekong use bla bla bla....them go still wail....Kai na wa oooo, tufiakwa!

Omeruo is the captain at his club. He has been exceptional for his team. Iheanacho needs to bring is A game else Egypt will dominate the midfield. I would have preferred Onyeka, Ndidi and Aribo's midfield with Iheanacho up top instead of Awoniyi. That midfield is too weak! Imo!

He's NOT.. Unai Bustinza is the captain of Leganes fc...
