All the Nwakali supporters can finally allow us hear word. But they won't. They will come here to say he wasn't given much time.. Nwakali is not SE material. That guy is wack. Severely wack.

0 goal and 0 assists in over 30 games for a player plying his trade in the segunda league as a supporting striker is an eyesore.

The only reason he's in the team is because his big daddy likes him ..

He wasn’t impressive today but still could have had an assist in the last minute or pre assist if not for Ejuke selfishness

Also you guys are saying Ejuke was selfish for the two shots he had saved.

For the first, he pushed the ball too far out that he could not give an accurate pass sideways before having it cut out, so he just went for the shot.

For the second, Iwobi got closed down by the defender immediately Ejuke got the ball in an area he could pass to him. Everyone he could pass to was closed down or marked. The only free guy was Sadiq, and he arrived into position too late.
God bless you. At times I wonder as people watch football. There is nothing selfish about
his play. What of chukwueze who could not prove himself.

I knew Sadiq was bad but l expected WAY MORE

You are in the Segunda and have been for two seasons, this is your chance to SHOW WHAT YOU CAN DO.

Seize the opportunity

He will never have a bigger game than this , no urgency, no determination, no presence, no technique, no pace, no physicality, no aggression, no skill, NO NOTHING.

Nwakali self the AM the midfield maestro WOW lost for Words.

KC really found his position which is behind the Attacker , Aribo was very composed and if Moses had some finesse he should have scored. All round very good performance.

Low points substitutions.

Perhaps having to make your international debut as a sub in a game of this magnitude has something to do with it?

So you consider today performance by Simon as good??
Better by a mile compared to his display towards the end of Rohr's regrettable stint

Ejuke that played ekuke football is the one you're praising grin

You people no kill pesin for this thread.

Ejuke had Iwobi in the middle and didnt pass and played into the side netting and you called that one threatening the keeper.

Ejuke end product was much better than Simon own in today’s game but he needs to look up and become less selfish.. as a winger, your first duty is to learn how to cross the ball

There’s no pride boss. The man dribbled past his opponents today but as usual, his end product was abysmal. He couldn’t even force their goal keeper to a save… I will give him credit for dribbling his opponents numerous times… all I need from Simon is quality end product, Goals or assist

How many end product did chukwueze give to you ?

Dennis would had scored possibly a world class goal. His end product is the best among all our wing forward (this season)

He needs to be more clinical with his crosses. That was one good thing about Victor Moses
Even Victor Moses be dey Bleep up for cross... He was just more of a goal threat than Simon.

. the substitution was lit master. As for sadiq I can understand , he will need another chance, not a bad shift. Nwakali work was more of defending and killing the game.

Ask them?

I don't want to criticise Simon's game, because we won.
We see what we see.

Top performers

Ndidi,
Iheanacho.

Simon worked the most so its expected that he'd make more mistakes, most of the balls were coming to him all angles. He was always at the back defending against Zizo and at the same tormenting the Egyptian defenders. He's my best player today, same way we always give it to Osimhen even when he misses sitters.

Overall, considering the team that we face and their global superstar, it was a good game.. I expect us to top the group and get an easier team in the round of 16

Eguavoen seems to have identified and solved Ejuke's weakness, which is unnecessary dribbles and holding on to the ball for long.
He was still holding on to the ball today o...abi na back of TV I dey watch?

also direct this to chukwueze also he didn't even have much dribble success compare to moses and Moses will improve as the tournament progresses he actually did well and contributed to our goal wink

Moses Simon was man of the match

Accept that

Moses Simon was your man of the match?
Alright, your opinion, and i respect that.

Moses's performance was not a far cry from his previous performances.
Most of the forward passes was directed to him, making him look like our star man.

In my reckoning, as far as top performances are concerned, he is not even in the first five.

Jesus Christ!
Sadiq didn't play badly na. In fact what did you expect him to do. No be the ball wey come your side you go play? Same thing as Nwakali who came in ten minutes to the end of the game.
This thing you guys do in the name of objectivity is toxic. I am a very objective person by nature and my profession has helped me to be even more so.
Given the time they came in, it is best to suspend judgment on them until they play for a stretch.

Check this: in the first half, Ola Aina was quiet, basically doing his defensive duties but see how he surged forward pushing our attack in the second half.

Calm down abeg

And the chance he created that resulted to a goal would also have been created by Dennis? Wow! How did you know this? Even the first minute injury to an Egyptian player to scuttle their coach's game plan by forcing them to make early sub, would also have been done by Dennis abi grin
