As for if Ighalo would have done better than Awoniyi vs Egypt, nobody should hold an Absolute Conclusion about that. Its not 100 for any of the Yes or No. But i can confidently say that for that shot Awo had, Ighalo's would have been hotter and might have scored. Its all experience but that's not a reason to call Awo a pretender. That's foolish.

To me Awo had a pleasant game with his own sweat and contribution doing what we needed to win. Our wasted chances weren't even at his feet but others.
Has Ighalo scored that kind of goal before?

Ighalo would've missed it in a very shameful way. Either he doesn't even play it well or he throws it over the bar.

Your contradictions to here and now that they asked you about Okoye and Uzoho yesterday and you were flailing about like a bird inside boiling water.

Or you think I am talking about Ighalo's here and now?

Your here and now for Ighalo is different from your here and now for Okoye and Uzoho
.

Tomorrow, you will have another definition for here and now for a different sort of players.

Inconsistent and emotional.
I assume a certain level of intelligence , understanding and an ability to carry out the most basic of comparison analysis.

I put forward the statistics chart courtesy of Whoscored of all the matches both playerss have played this season 2021/22.

Which is CURRENTLY which means present continuous and therefore HERE and NOW. Not last session or the season before, but right now ,

Maduka in the Eredivisie rated 7th and the Uzoho in Cyprus league rated number 15 in Europe , see below.

Should I speak Spanish can anything be more representative of the HERE and NOW than the present continuous season 2021/22.

So Eguavoen is imitating Guardiola? Is Eguavoen as tactically adept as Pep is? Does our coach have the embarrassment of star player options that the Man City coach has?

This is like a poor man buying expensive clothes with his last card because he saw a rich man buying them. It means nothing to the rich man but to the poor man......

I wonder where you got comparing Pep and Eguavoen. I said tacticians like sharing and teaching their strategies. Even me find it puzzling.

When Amunike defeated Brazil in the U17 in 2015, the FIFA tech committee did not understand his tactics.

What did Amunike do? Instead of keeping it to himself, he went on to teach them it.

Amunike trained local coaches on his system.

It is how they behave. Meet Simeone Inzaghi now and he will start teaching. That is all I am saying.

I refer to my long standing proviso for national team selection.

It is better to be the top outstanding player in a low level club and league than an anonymous mouse in s top level club and league.

That is still in the HERE and NOW.

Ighalo is the top the current highest goal scorer in the Saudi Arabia pro Football league. That is in the HERE and NOW.

So now Miss objective quantifiable and measured.

Can you show where there is a contradiction to my position which has remained consistent please.
The definition of HERE and NOW is self explanatory

Aboubakar is on his way to being one of the top goal scorer at this tournament and it's arguable he may not necessarily be better than Ighalo.

You should have a lot more respect for Ighalo. If Ighalo was playing in the Bundesliga he would be among the top scorers. And if Ighalo was in Leicester do you think he would have scored only two goals in the EPL so far.
The whole assumption aspect you asked me to stay away from is where you're heading towards, brother.

You are very dishonest. And the fact that you pride yourself, despite the blatant hypocrisy, to be the only unsentimental one here is quite laughable, especially considering you are the most biased, sentimental and prejudiced one here.

@bolded, Onuachu, Awoniyi and Sadiq Umar are examples of home grown talents that have been outstanding in their low level leagues that you have consistently trashed here, or is that caveat only applicable to your innit boys and your south south brothers?

He was starved of any balls and had only one shot in that game. We weren't in control of that game either especially after Etebo's injury and the goal minutes later.

But he barely had any engagement with the ball and coach was telling him to stay in his position despite he wanting to shift deep and get more engagements.
Bro why are you now making excuses for Ighalo? Was Awo not also starved of clear cut chances too?

Low level leagues for these players according to komekn

But he praised and compared aboubakar of Cameroon with ighalo who has only played at turkey and Portugal during his time in Europe

Komekn will never rate players from turkey ,but he is rating aboubakar because he isn’t Nigerian and wanna use it to get at some of our players grin

Players MOST NIGERIANS will never forgive no matter what they do (they'll find every excuse in their minds to denigrate and disqualify them but it all boils down to past mistakes or unwanted actions) :

1) Yakubu Aiyegbeni
2) Odion Ighalo

You are loosing all sense of rationaity and clutching at delusional straws.

You are using the assumptive projection to contend with the factual. That will not work, you should know that , balance of probabilities, is not fact but speculative.

Fact Ighalo was the AFCON highest goal scorer Awoniyi, Sadiq, Onyekuru, even KC and Osimhen may or may not ever become one.
How many of Ighalo's goals that made him the highest goal scorer were due to abilities he has that our current strikers don't? Is it the penalty he scored against Algeria or the poke into an empty net he had against Tunisia? The only goal out of the 5 he scored that I can really coomend him for was the cool finish in the Burundi game.

The Aboubakar you are using to hype and further your agenda, how many goals did he score using superior striking ability? Out of the 4 he has, two were penalties, one was a free header and the last was a tap in. He is not the best or even second best player in Cameroon's attack.

The only striker that is doing well this season in the squad is Awoniyi in the context of good quality.

Maybe I am not that informed please tell me the others .

And because I am highlighting the quality of Ighalo does not mean I am insulting Awoniyi.

I actually have met him and think very highly of him , very good professional really good young man.
Dennis is doing well in your beloved EPL.

Onuachu is doing extremely well at Genk, virtually a goal a game.

Sadiq is doing well in Segunda, he has the highest goal contributions in the league.

Osimhen was doing very well until he got injured and is set to continue where he stopped as soon as he attains full recovery.

Not too ong ago he was at Manchester United albeit temporarily and was not bad.

Ighalo could get an EPL team today if they could afford his monstrous wages. The issue is not about getting a club.

This was a comparison between Aboubakar and Ighalo who both play in the same league. But the difference is that Ighalo is the highest goal scorer in that league.

Both players chose this league and the league chose them with bags of £££$$$ .

Aboubakar is on his way to being one of the top goal scorer at this tournament and it's arguable he may not necessarily be better than Ighalo.
