This passage is true but not entirely true in this new generation, you can train them in a monastery and they’ll end up worse. It just takes the Grace of God for a child to grow up right in this our current society..

Nice one! That's the most beautiful question. The mother had been wary of a pending disaster all along but the deceased was no longer within her control... It's a shame! How we got to this stage surprises me. How we will be living in the next 20years frightens me more!! We have female daughters everywhere. The stubbornness of these children these days is crazy.

Learning starts from home; from the parents especially when they bring up their children through practical examples. If the one bringing up the child is a bitch for instance, what legacy will s(he) pass to the child. Children respond better when parents demonstrate what they desire from their children. Children themselves do not necessarily toe the line of their parents for various reasons. They take the ones they find suitable and discard the rest.
For children to obey their parents, parents must also command the respect of their children. For instance, you give birth to a dozen of children that you cannot train from different mothers, you can't earn respect from such children because you now subject them to suffering and they have to fend for themselves to survive. Suffering children are open to various damaging exposure including people of questionable personalities. For the society to enjoy peace, proper parenting is key because the family is a reflection of the society, it is the microcosm of what is playing out at large.

My little cousin that we thought will be dangerous when he grows ended up ended up being the most humbled among the innocent ones .
The most innocent is now into Yahoo, two years ago he pregnanted tree women, now he lives with another pregnant for him that he beats almost everyday.
Few years ago he nearly run mad due to hard drugs, luckily for them he has reduced in taking them.
Now tell me how come the ones that were brought up well how did he end up this way.

I think their uncontrollable quest for cheap and easy money had made women endangered. There's no day In Nigeria at least one girl doesn't die or go mad for ritual purposes.
RIP do d dead but parents need to introduce that parenting method known with Africans.

God's word is forever settled, friend.
Can you compare a child trained and one left to himself/herself?
Every child is unique and for you to train him/her, you must understand that child. Most parents are blind spiritually and don't know more than feeding, flogging and school fees.
Imagine having a parent who will tell you what you are about to do, and what will befall you if you try it.
Nobody will tell you to adjust if you experience those things.
Children will respect those who know more than them.

Because of the poor miserable way majority of the people think, the wicked will continue to rule.

Imagine a young woman has her life cut short and instead of calling for prompt investigation, everyone is blaming her including her wretched mother.

Children can be trained by the strictest parents on earth only to end up as olosho in university or after graduation. Whatever a child will do, they will do. You can only advise and hope.

It not about being strict or being loose handed. How a child turns out depends on what influenced the mind of the child, how it was programed.

The environment the child spends time in, the type of tv shows the child watches, the type friends they hang out with, the character and behavior of the older siblings and parents.

Is the parent the type of person that the look up to and admire, if yes the child will be more inclined to listen to their advice and warning. If no the child will not listen to them.

All of these are what determines how a child turns out.
