Finally gathered courage to use pregnacare today even tho I'm 18weeks gone, fear still dey catch Me. I've been restless since morning that I took it sef.
Reason is that I lost my last pregnacy at 4weeks (quite early) a day after using pregnatone (maybe I used it too early, it might not even be as a result of the drugs sef).

Now that am pregnant again i felt maybe all this oyibo pregnancy strong drugs isn't for me. But the normal hospital routine drugs was making my heart palpitate soooo much and I had to stop them and was using only forlic acid. Asked all the young mother's and pregnant women around me and they all said they use pregnacare so I Decided to buy it.

Atleast at 4months the baby should be strong enough for the drugs nah. Plus I asked my doctor if I could use it and she maliciously said 'i don't know oo, it's a personal decision for you to make, nah ur baby and then she said, imagine u have money to buy a 5k drugs when u didn't pay for your last consultation fee


Anyways End of rant. God help me.

Breast pump has been frustrating itself,I ordered a single manual pump thinking,the one I had was faulty buy now I know that pumping milk is not as easy as I thought. I never had any reason to do this in my previous pregnancies cos I wasn't working but now that am in school,I have to. I have resumed because I have exams in few weeks time and I wish to breastfeed my DH exclusively like her brothers but it's not looking achievable as what I pump is not much.
Pls any help or I should buy formula? If only I can do 3 months exclusive for her. I leave her with my mum while I go to school.

Manual pump is a big no for me. It showed me pepper until i bought an electric pump. It is still working after using it for my two children. Planning to use it for No. 3 and or No. 4.

If the baby is straining to poo and crying; hold both legs up gently whilst the baby is facing you and positioned on your lap. The poo will definitely come out.
If you are a ftm,dont be scared. This works like magic.
Like my mom told me..ogboju no fi n to omo( you raise a baby with bravery )

Lol, I'm a FTM too but after consulting, the doctor will tell me to pay consultation fee to the Cashier.. They even told me earlier when I made enquiries sef... I can imagine how the woman would be looking at you sef, it would have been better if it was a man

hello mama... U dont ve to b worried abt any prenatals... Prenatals helps in assisting developing baby get enof nutrients, it doesnt affect baby in any negative way.... I had bio-chemical pregnancy too whereby i lost a 5weeks pregnancy too b4 i dis one... I started taking my prenatals early too but it wasnt pregnacare.... Biochemical pregnancy occur wen der is chromosomal abnormalities wit d fertilized eggs or wen d fertilized egg didnt implant properly.... Dis do happen to almost everybody... Me n u were aware of d pregnancy bcs we did pregnancy test early... I was actually tracking the pregnancy development then... I got my bfp 1week pass ovulatn date... N d line was faint till i was 4weeks pregnant, so knw smtin isnt right by 5weeks i saw blood n i knw it ws chemical pregnancy... Tried again n wallaaa....!!! Sm people dnt even knw dey were preggy, dey just realized dey missed their period a week or two not knwing dey were pregnant n lost it... Hvin CP doesnt mean smtin is wrng wit sm1 or it is cause by smtin, it is just natural occurance dt may happen to anybody.

So ma my conclusion is dt pregnacare isnt d cause of ur previous miscarriage.... Use ur prenatals judiciously.

Anyways for what to eat, reduce your salt intake if possible avoid it all through, avoid processed/fast food and eat healthy lots of veggies and fruits, no coffee, tea and caffeinated drinks

You should be atleast 4weeks gone from last menstrual period not 2 weeks gone, you should see your Dr asap also so you can be closely monitored

God is the giver of all good gifts and the baby will carried in good health, sicknesses and diseases in pregnancy have no place in ur body in Jesus Name, divine health strength and vigor is yours all through your pregnancy by God's grace

u c sm doctors ehn... I dnt understand dem, dey find it hard explaining sm tins to patient... Imagine her telling u *i dnt knw ooo* dt is just unprofessional of her to say so, no b say na antibiotics u wan use na, its just a supplement, sm will even ignore u completely sef smh... Radarada... Simple explainatn dey cannot do smh.

Talk to your doctor, you may be given vasoprin to reduce risk of preeclampsia, reduce your salt intake, for instance if there is salt in your stew, you don't put salt in your rice. Also take lots of water. Above all pit your mind at rest and trust God to see you through.

Pls do not tie anything on your tummy yet, I tried to do it but bruised myself in the process.

I also didn’t lactate well, in fact, my breast milk production is still poor, I supplement with Similac after noticing NAN optipro caused baby to seriously constipated.

Pls give baby warm water every time you feed, it will help make the stool softer.

baby dont need lots of pillows... U only need one to support their back wen u place baby on one side so dt baby wont ve flat head.

I wont advise you skip ANC appointments, especially if it is 1ce in 4 weeks, somethings get to be picked up during routine checks that may not even have bothering symptoms, LBP, HBP, protein in urine, anemia etc, just go let them certify you okay better to be safe than sorry.
