Please I want to ask, I just packed to this apartment late December. Are mine the person that should go to council for council tax exemption or I should wait when they send letter first before we start to process exemption. How does it work. My wife is the student but I am the dependant. Both names are on the Rent agreement

Hello,
How's everyone doing?

How's everyone gearing up for the increase in bills come April?

Anyway, for anyone looking to switch energy provider, you can join E-ON NEXT. They have a good rate, and if you sign up with my link, https://share.eonnext.com/iron-wren-281

you get £50 credit towards your bill.

With energy prices going exponentially up come April, if you can, you should switch now.
What if I want do diss EON

Certificate of enrollment is enough to present as an evidence there shouldn't be any other special letter.

You can do any, either you wait for the first bill or ring the council and tell them to stay far away smiley (in wizzy voice)

It's not a requirement, my brother took just a dose. He had to do the test in Nigeria, the day 2 &8 test in the UK and self isolate.

I travel with a cover cloth or a bed sheet whenever I am away for both hotel and Airbnb accommodations. I don’t sleep on the bed without putting a cover cloth or a bedsheet. I dread the idea of sleeping and waking up with something nasty.

Nne, I don’t know how buoyant you are. I came to uk with full family. Got an unfurnished 3 bedroom, you mean I would buy all things new? Let me tell you what I did here in Coventry. I went to a Charity Shop, Emmaus, got three used beds and foams, full Living room sofa and one wardrobe for £420. They even delivered it the following day. I went to Facebook marketplace and got a double sized Fridge for £110, washing machine free, microwave £20. They are all working perfectly. Lass lass I am going now to lemigton spa to pick pressing ion for £5. I bought bedsheets and douvet brand new from Argos. We dey sleep well in the three rooms on the three beds perfectly.

So I furnished that house with less than £700. I was even regretting why I bought those foams because in my neighborhood since I came in late December , I have seen plenty foams free to collect here. My next door neighbour just brought out a freezer outside for anyone to take.

What if the house you came into was earlier furnished with bed and foam? You go thruway am? You no dey sleep for hotel?

We were with Scottish Power too, and I'll say please leave as soon as you can if you're able to. I have said I will never use Scottish Power again even if they were the only energy provider left. It got so bad I reported them to ombudsman but unfortunate to learn they sponsor ombudsman so that's where their loyalty was, Hence the matter wasn't resolved. Was on the brink of suing them before they eventually sorted our issue.

To switch just click on the link in my initial post, insert your details to get a quote,.If you're happy with it, EON-NEXT will start your switch process. You won't have to do anything.

Just click on the link in the initial post to get the £50 credit and the instructions on how to switch is there. Ensure you read all the fineprints and compare around to ensure you're on a great deal. Their rate is alright though.

its just being smart about it. When people people are moving house, they must remove everything the came with. Imagine moving from a house you furnished yourself to a furnished apartment. Where u go keep all those properties? That's why majority sell or even ask you to come take free. when you have limited Budget., omo,you go get sense.

Even all those second hand items that they sell in Naija. Where dem dey bring am?

Sorry I thought we were all laughing here don't why you decided to mention me when I did not say anything about buying from Facebook.

Let me clear the air before someone will start to abuse me. I did not say it is wrong to buy from Facebook.

Yes there should be a limit by second hand stuff. Especially when it comes in contact with your body. If you start getting irritation what will you do.

The person that even mentioned Facebook market laughed about it I don't know why you are bringing your family into this matter.

Maybe I should just stop coming to Nairaland travel because this is getting out of hand seriously. People just misquoted someone just to get likes.

If you feel Facebook marketing is good for all your stuff fine but don't put on other people.

That's why I gave the poster that requested for physical store or options other Nairalanders did so I don't know why you decided to mention me.

Finally even though majority of us are from Nigeria that does not make all of us this the same or we must do things the way you are doing stuff.

The poster did not ask for priced like I explained earlier. The poster asked for physical store.

Don't know why Nigerians are good at misquoting people just to feel good. Anyway una take.

Wow ...what a terrible landlord. So the landlord could not provide white goods for rental. Na wah

Never heard a tenant providing fridge, washing machine... I get unfurnished but unfurnished should come with white goods .
