if a player as bad as bonke can secure a move to the french ligue 1 then nwakali needs to do more because its obvious something tangible other than passing is missing in his game

take your bias opinion of Nwakali and shove it in your ass. The people who likes your bias agaisnt him should be ashame of themselves allowing you to infest them with your hate for anything Naija born. It is not a rocket science that you are always against any Naija born players that excelled from our youth set up. Osimhen, Nwakali and the next in line will be Amoo.

The pattern is very clear for those of us with eyes to see. You hate any players from our youth set up especially when they are fan favorite. Take your bias opinion and shove it in your ass!

Let me indulge your reprobate mind and your imaginary prejudiced assumptions.

I am also AGAINST according to you, Moses, Awoniyi ,Iwobi and Dennis who I have commended with objectivity, came from where , Peckham in your mind. .

AGAINST is your twisted self birthed perception. Because l will not join you, in going over the top about your favourite Nigerian players, in your mind that means AGAINST.

I am AGAINST Mediocrity, Favouritism and Nepotism.

And I am all for constructive criticism which is the key component that makes players better not going OTT when player does the ordinary.

But for those with preconceived notions and negative bias , there eyes are darkened with prejudice and BIAS, like yours.

It's obvious you don't know what BIASED means, let
me remind you , "lnclination or prejudice for or against one person or group, especially in a way considered to be unfair "

I gave very intrinsically clear key performance indicators that are used to measure a Midfielders performance. You ignored those to present your OTT hype.

I even acknowledge the three passes one very good and the rest just your average routine pass forward.

But on every other indicator he was poor, and in some areas very poor.

I Made it clear the contribution of Frank Onyeka ( who has upped his game on arrival in EPL) much to my surprise. Was profound he brought intensity, stamina, backtracking , tackles, physicality all in few paltry minutes.

I rated Frank Onyeka higher than Nwakali before this game and I still do even now. He brings way more than Nwakali. It beggars belief that he has been made to sit on the bench.

My deductions remain the same Nwakali is a mediocre player. Given undue favouritism by the powers that be for way too long in the NFF. But it's nothing new this is quite normal in the NFF.

We are all entitled to be our favourites, mine are Ndidi, Aribo and Onyeka in the midfield.

Finally, l have been commending Osimhen for year's but not the way you do, balanced and fair with constructive criticism.

You're not realizing what 12large1 is just realizing about Nwakali.. another thing most of you forget is that football is a job and most countries will want a quota of their indigenous players playing for the top teams and earning a big paycheck.

They will protect the top teams for their indigenes and other Europe:and..

Another thing is they have a perception or stereotype of African footballers especially CAM African players. They convert most of our CAMs to DMs or FBs or WBs.. e.t.c..

Sorry but in this occasion your taking Absolutely utter dross.

In the EPL many teams have fielded teams with sometimes not a single English players.

Indeed most of the teams in the EPL are dominated by Foreign players.

Nwakali was at Arsenal with probably more Nigerian origin players than most club's barring Chelsea.

I went to an U18 match years ago with Chelsea and Reading some of the players were barking out instructions in Igbo. I nearly fell over in shock

he is a fantastic player, good passing and shooting ability and deadly on set piece but coaches of this generation loves players who are workaholic at the middle as well

if he can work on his off the ball side of the game believe me nwakali will shine and make a name for himself in europe atleast in ,mid table teams in top league

You don't come to Super Eagles to learn or work on this or that. These are things that should be already there, he is doing bog standard average things and people act like he is Zidane.

I will never slap a man and I do not expect men not to retaliate, I am fully for retaliation.

And if you saw unprintable names, it was directed more at the person you were laughing with, than at you. Sorry if you felt offended, my response to you was borne out of my own feelings of being offended as well.

I still do not appreciate some of the statements you made of my person, but I apologise if they were borne out of your need to retaliate

As much as you get very heated and go OTT you do show a lot of humility and apologize if you think your wrong.

That's a commendable attribute.

He is playing at the afcon

He might be loaned out though ,just as the Percy tau case with Brighton
he needs to play close to 75% of the teams competitive games in a calendar year to qualify to play in England unless he is rated as a special talent which I doubt

Best bet is to sign and loan him to another league out of England

very possible, after Patino’s first game for arsenal Saka asked him in the dressing room what he has to say and he replied ‘ese gaan ni’. Arsenal have a lot of Nigeria origin players in their youth setup

those aforementioned players you aint agaisnt (Awoniyi, dennis, Simon Moses etc)... The last time I checked never won any individual accolade in our youth set up. You are predominantly agaisnt players we considered special talents due to their individuals award from under 17. (nacho, Osimhen, Nwakali) very clear as day light. I say to you again....take your bias opinion and shove it in your ass bro!

I beg to assure you that give Eguavoen the job, in few months you will begin to see players for Azbeskistan, Kaftanistan, Ekpomanistan.

Not a bad thing if he's getting the results. But in Nigeria, especially as a black coach, agents and influencers will pursue you with money that you cannot refuse.

And I assure you that you are just speculating what is on your mind. You do not know Eguavoen's character.

I know a Nigerian man that turned down a hundred million naira bribe. I know another that turned down 10,000 Dollars bribe. Oliseh left Sittard because he refused to play game that would have made him money.

So, you do not know his character to assure that

My own conclusion about this Nwakili case is that he has performed above expectations so far.

I had always known the boy had it in him but I kept wondering y his development had been slow. Appears he is not pushing himself well enough.

Well, this AFCON has really helped his career.i hope he can improve as the tournament continues.

This last 2 games was the first time that I have watched him meticulously since the u17 cup and I have impressed. His short/long passes, intelligence, technique and most importantly set piece acumen is a joy to behold and frankly there’s no one similar to him on our team for now. If we can convince eze, ejaria or olise to switch Nationality, nwakali position will become replaceable

The players especially Iheanacho usually call Onyekuru "Oke" meaning rat.

daveP:

Even staff knows Onyekuru is the clown of the team. Nice bonding. Iwobi though. Doesn't seem eager, from the cliques formed. Might be wrong. Aribo looking like music artiste. Omeruo no wan comot Ndidi side. E no easy. Most of the young boys never even enter u17 when he was already a champ. He even looks younger than most of them.

The draw for the playoff (final) round of the African World Cup qualifiers takes place at 4pm Nigerian time today.

What team would you prefer be drawn vs the SE?

My choice is DR Congo

K. Nwakili has always been a technically gifted player. He was also the free kick specialist in that U17 team. Himself Osimhen and Chukwueze were the standout players of that tournament, and I am glad to see that Nwakili has joined the other two at the next level.
Our performances at U17 from 2013 to 2015 has started yielding fruits for the national team. The two sets alone produced:
Ndidi (2013)
Iheanacho (2013)
Uzoho (2013)
Awoniyi (2013)
Osimhen (2015)
Chukwueze (2015)
Nwakili (2015)
Good job from Manu Garba and Emma Amuneke. Imagine if this kind of production line continued with the 2017 and 2019 sets, the Super Eagles would have been better for it.
The Current NFF Leadership really needs to take Youths football more seriously. Under Pinnick, focus has been more on the Super Eagles. Our youth teams have not done well under him and that will mean that the future of the SE would be hinged on foreign Borns which is not good for local football development.

Ghana stopped doing well at Youths level ever since the MRI was introduced and that has started having it's ugly toll on their national team. I hope that will not be Nigeria's case in a couple of years to come when the current crop have started declining in form. We have so many aged players in that our defense (Awaziem being the youngest) and I think Qatar should be the last WC for a good number of them. We hope younger defenders would emerge soonest.

Where you got your zero man-management is what I do not understand. Was he strict? Yes, he was. That was what was needed to turn those boys into achievers. Did he improve them? A whole lot. He had them punching far above their weight.

You can not deliver such results with poor man-management. Let us give Oliseh his props. He made those guys do the unbelievable.

I do not think it is a case of anger issues. It was a case of pride. Oliseh made it about him because no one else, including the owner of Fortuna Sittard, believed he could transform them from a relegation side to title contenders.

Maybe Oliseh should have kept his ego aside and treated the owner as the boss he is. However, Oliseh had a bigger complex than the man and it all fell apart.
An excerpt of Oliseh's statement on the matter.

“Four weeks ago when we lost a game in FC Dordrecht one of my players called me to say he had to tell me something, that the club had presented a document to him to sign against me and that he refused,” Oliseh told Fox Sports Nertherlands.

“And I asked why, he replied ‘because they are building up a case against you, they are asking other players to sign’.

What matters is that Oliseh is not a poor coach and proved his quality with Fortuna Sittard. I think he should try again.

Please O, I don talk am for this thread before, make nobody dey call Mikel name anyhow where I dey. Mikel na my own JJ Okocha, my own GOAT, he will always be untouchable.

Does not work like that in a real situation. FAs also protect their players and have rules that can slow the progress of players. Remember work permit stopped Yaya Toure from joining Arsenal and the same stopped Douglas Luiz from joining Manchester City.

Look at Iheanacho's case. In an ideal situation, he has done enough to earn more playing time but it is not happening.

There are other factors at play in football than just making money.

Finito.
