This man is enjoying Nigeria and is not helping Nigeria in anyway. He will soon be richer than Nigeria. Cement, sugar, milk, Noddles, rice and whatever that is his product is increasing everyday. |

CaptainAyub:When the borders were closed...Dangote, BUA and FMN were given exemptions.. Secondly he has no rift with BUA group... Some of u don't listen to news to understand.. BUA group opened a sugar refinery in PH city..which is to produce sugar by importing the raw sugar abroad...that idea goes against the Nigeria sugar backward integrated program which BUA is part of... BUA is supposed to refine raw sugar from within Nigeria not import it which puts pressure on our forex reserve.. Ibeto cement was formed to eventually die..when obasanjo initiated cement backward integrated program.. It basically means before u continue importing cements into the country .u have made plans to produce locally.. Ibeto never followed the rules and he wanted government to keep supplying him dollars...the company folded up as soon as those who followed the rules opened their plant (Dangote cement and BUA cement) There is no such thing as subsidised dollar ...CBN gave uninterrupted dollar supplies to Dangote for obvious reasons....he is funding the largest refinery in Africa with the longest pipeline infrastructure in the world, Africa largest petrochemical and fertilizer plant and world largest single distillation column.. All this can save Nigeria forex reserve by over 50% and end our embarrassing activities of petroleum imports... And you think Government through CBN shouldn't give their utmost support.... Abeg rest...if e easy why didn't otedola, alakija , shell ,chevron, Agip...and all the petroleum giants do it... 2 Likes |

AntiBMC:You are so jealous to see beyond this Govt. DANGOTE'S GREAT GRANDFATHER DEPOSITED 20 CAMELS OF SILVER COINS IN FIRST BANK IN 1929 Old Receipt Reveals Dangote's Grandfather as One of the First Nigerians to Deposit Money in a Bank - Dangote's grandfather was one of the very first Nigerians to use a bank, according to an emerging old receipt - Alhaji Alhassan Dantata opened an account and made a deposit in Kano state. - His deposits were said to have been carried by camels. The great grandfather of Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, was one of the first persons in the country to transact with a bank when they were established. According to an old receipt shared on Twitter by Nigeria Stories, the businessman had made a deposit when the Bank of British (now First Bank) opened a branch in Kano state in 1929. Dangote's grand father was the first person to open a bank account and make a deposit in Kano Photo Credit: @NigeriaStories Alhaji Alhassan Dantata showcased great wealth even in the manner of his deposit at that time. He deposited 20 camel loads of silver coins. https://www.legit.ng/1416294-old-receipt-reveals-dangotes-grand-father-one-first-nigerians-deposit-money-a-bank.html Dangote's family were richest in West Africa years before amalgamation of Nigeria talk less of our independence. He was richest under OBJ through this Govt. If u are talking about monopoly then tell us what is monopolised to him? He is into Cement BUA breakthrough and is making great, he is into sugar, flour, salt and other food commodities and many are into them and making great fortunes. Your bigotry and fanaticism will keep overriding ur sense of decorum. Now he is into oil refining and many are going into it. During GEJ's administration many of his kinsmen were given licence and CBN supports to build refineries but wasted the money. Now BUA and Dangote have used their money and intellect, u are here shouting nonsense bigotry. Tell ur brothers into trade to learn how to venture into manufacturing! 4 Likes |

These are available right now in the Nigerian cement market. Keep believing in your own lies. Dangote was rich when Obasanjo was President, he even got richer under Jona. I guess they also gave home a monopoly. Tell Oyenma to go to the US and answer those FBI indictments in a US federal court. Lying SOB. 4 Likes 1 Share |

If Dangote were to be a Igbo man and someone said that 'monopoly' trash, you would have said they are jealous of your success but to your flat head now, this obsession with Dangote isn't jealousy. 90% of the comments on here show why most people would never be rich: 1. They don't read, even though their parents/guardians/sponsors might have sacrificed so much to see them through school. 2. They are just basic financial illiterates (degrees regardless). 3. They waste more of their time and data on crapola than getting educated by trends that could actually improve their finances. P.S. Any half-smart financial individual could see since the shares buy-back commenced, the company's share price was gon' increase, and by extension all shareholders' wealth (Alh. Dangote's inclusive). And while y'all are here playing your little "bigotry ludo", smart wise men from y'all tribes are making money associating with the Dangote brand. Una na no fit get sense. 1 Like |

danhans:The Government supporting Dangote rhetoric is stale already. When you listen to Dangote in his interviews, he knows all the tiny details of his businesses and he has established in 16 countries across Africa. Is that also from Government support? and Government has supported several big men in this country. Many of them just don't have the knowledge to invest. 2 Likes 1 Share |
