Our midfield was quite thin
Our game was predictable
Nobody is to be blamed for this loss
This was our slowest match and we tried the same pattern over and over again.
I have always been weary of overhyping our chances but then this is football.
Happy that Sadiq has redeemed his image.

I think the hype was merited. I do not think we were poor today. Was our midfield thin? Yes, it was but that is something the coach already planned to sacrifice for our offensive strategy.

I always believe in dreaming big, as long as football is concerned. This makes the team strive to achieve big things.

As I said, with time, it will click. It happens. We had the chances.

please..don't use our crashing out to justify that old man. We didn't lose today because we of our style of play. Maduke fumbled, the referee was also bias and we didn't take our chances.

Sometimes, these things you can not tell. I remember watching City against Southampton and how we kept missing chance after chance. It is football. Sometimes it happens.

We just need to keep building and tightening our tactics.

The coach messed up. He ought to have read the game and quickly made tactically changes but no....bros was rigid.

How long do we keep building?

the same would have happened under Rohr...

Nigeria played safe in the first half and tried to play safe in the second half until they scored... then the red card...

It was playing safe that put too much pressure on the defense..

The immortal words of the great Jose Mourinho... Chelsea vs Man United FA cup Final. " Do you want to enjoy yourselves on the pitch and lose? Or do you want to suffer on the pitch and win?" Keep the faith. We support the team come rain or shine. Truth Eguavoen was like a rabbit caught in the headlights today.

In terms of midfield play, we were outplayed.
If Tunisia needed to win this match by 3 goals, there was a chance that they could have.
We created chances because we needed to score. They just kept it tight and simple

That is their game but even you knows we were the better side. And Tunisia would never have been able to win by three goals. They always have good build up but are terrible in the final third.

The goal they scored came from a slip up from the goal keeper. Apart from that and may be the save Maduka pulled, I did not see bite.

The real bite came from us.

I didn’t say anything on the contrary but I am saying we could have changed our tactics.

The same Mourinho that has been spanked up and down.

That his philosophy is outdated. He even knows. Guardiola has won the English Premier League three times while enjoying himself.

Almost all the players played poorly today due to the coach inability to read the match.

I was surprised he came with the same players in the second half and started making changes after we were one goal down.

Very painful.

Alloy Agu should be removed from the team because he is the reason we don’t have a good goalkeeper.

Sir,NPFL keeper is the answer cos we still have Enyeamas in NPFL but imagine picking John Noble a third keeper with Enyimba just like having Ezenwa then who hardly played for his club.

We lost quality keeper the day Ikeme was diagnose with cancer but instead of deep searching we went for Uzoho who was keeping in 2nd Segunda and later 3rd division Okoye....I can say it anywhere that super eagles really helped Okoye career, nothing special about him.

If we believe we are lacking quality outfield players in NPFL but not keepers. All they need is coach Amusa Adisa treatment for Enyeama,Ejide and Aiyenugba but Alloy Agu is not ready.

the only thing he could have done was to not let Awoniyi start the 2nd half..

he can't read the referee giving a red card.. not checking VAR for penalty..

The point is, Osimhen will do nada for this game. EOD
I didn't come after you because of you talking about Osimhen not scoring. Your pointer to his cameo against Tunisia in 2019 is offside and way to the left

Eguaveon to stay

I'm sorry, but Eguaveon to go!

I hate to see it when a coach has no plan B at all, just looked so clueless when his initial plan was not working.

Even me that knows nothing about football tactic saw it that the moment Simon is caged, we may be rendered ineffective. I mentioned this yesterday.

A tactically savvy coach should be able to come up with something when ur initial plan does not work.

Plus , he is too predictable sef.

And to think this man was a student of westerhoof.

Total disappointment.

He made the changes early. They were right changes. He brought in Olayinka and Iwobi to put pressure on the defense. However, the red card disrupted it.

You guys remember we played a man down for a long time. I think the guys did well. It was just an unfortunate game.

When you guys make statements like this, I find it shocking because you are not proposing one thing.

If there is anything Eguavoen showed was tactical saviness.

After the goal, he switched tactics and went for a press, which started fine until the red card.

After the red card, he switched to a direct long ball strategy by bringing in Sadiq and it worked but we did not take our chances.

What else should a manager do?
