Oga forgiveness, there is no need to argue, some of us have pass this level....truly Awoniyi had a very poor game inclusive Iheanacho but how will you be arguing with someone that said Ebuehi would have done better than Aina...Aina who was the best in that defense.

Good that we lost than to lose to Ghana...time to pray for injuries free for Victor Osimehn,Leon Balogun,Odion Ighalo,Onuachu,Dennis and possibly Lookman....I think time is too short to get a keeper against Ghana but I want Uzoho in goal.

A guy here even tried to blame wonderful Ola aina for Tunisia goal

I agree but in the end, we still got the chances. Unfortunately, we did not take them.

But too late. We ought to have buried the game in the first half.

You see why Rohr decided to play safe by playing unattractive football that gives result

Gives result ke. With time we would have been blown away. It is just a matter of time for fake thugs to get exposed.

Keep in mind we made 9 points in the group stage and were unfortunate today. Do not make it what it is not.

Even you knows we are fiercer today and most teams in Africa will find it difficult facing us. Eguavoen had about a week with the boys to prepare. Rohr had years and took us no where.

I do not blame the players at all

I blame Femi Otedola and his $250,000 promise

I blame Godwin Emefiele that flew down to Cameroon to announce that gift

I blame Badluck Buhari the most for sending that rubbish video that nobody asked for

Whose silky idea was it for that man to send a video? You no go wait till una reach semis at least, before you begin dey send goodwill video?

I blame Pinnick too.

Luck was not on our side, and it makes sense when you are surrounded by Badluck merchants

Sincerely.

The Tunisians that I saw against Gambia should not have defeated Nigeria.

But then, we meuve

Well we lost we just have to accept it but my take goes thus
1. I have Said it severally maduka never inspired confidence for me I will always pick uzoho fine he his a young keeper and mistakes are bound to happen but you aren't same keeper in your club side you look more confidence in Sparta but In the national team always shaky well going forward he will learn but his mistake cause us this game.
2. Eguavoen don't have a plan B to over reliant on one tactics/pattern which Tunisia figured out in the first half.
3. Iwobi red card was just off wasn't intentional but the ref could have been lenient if he wants to.
4. Chukwueze still didn't work on his decision making and the Tunisian defenders just kept him in their pocket all night long.
5. Moses Simon got same treatment we gave to Salah and he couldn't do much.
6. Iheanacho off, taiwo same thing
7. Sodiq was the only inspiration going forward today
8. Yinka tried.
9. To much distraction also caused us this loose from, the money promises to them, having meeting with the president when we haven't qualifed for the final, the nff president constantly going to their dressing room like he his a coaching Crew didn't help and might contribute to putting tension to the players.
We just have to put this one by the side and work towards the world cup qualifiers am sure they will push the pasiero agenda now we just have to wait for what nff does in the next few weeks.

I thought Nwakili or Onyeka would have come in for Iheanacho and Sadiq for Awoniyi in the second half but anyways good lesson to learn.

Exactly! It was a very bad lesson for me.

TheGoodJoe:

I heard this outsmarting from the panel and I asked someone a question? How smart were they? We had loads of chances to take the game. Eguavoen actually outsmarted them, not the other way around. Even with a man down, we kept creating chances. We were just unfortunate. I think the Tunisian's are getting more praise than they deserve.

Congratulations they won but they were totally outplayed as far as I am concerned.

Sometimes, these things you can not tell. I remember watching City against Southampton and how we kept missing chance after chance. It is football. Sometimes it happens.

We just need to keep building and tightening our tactics.

I actually felt for the guys today. The fought. Most especially Sadiq. I just get happy when I see guys playing with heart. That red card was so unfair but kudos to them for picking themselves and fight.

The coaching crew needs to address the midfield gap. It is a sound philosophy but we need to keep building from here. I hope Pinnick promotes continuity this time.

I am not comfortable with Aribo and Ndidi pushing so high. I like especially the defensive midfielder sitting. Or, you provide cover with the full-backs. However, I do think full-backs tucking is a bit complex.

What we need from Ndidi is to shield the defense and build his long ball play. Aribo and others can battle the box-to-box role.

However we look at it, we missed our chances, so I can not put too much blame on our tactics.
I really feel for the players

Na their own matter I dey reason sef, and that is why I would rather not blame them.

They must be beating themselves up by now, especially Iwobi and Okoye, and enough people are spreading out blames, so, what will my one more blame do?

If say we win now, I fit balance dey share blame to who mess up most for the win, but we have already lost and I am very sure everybody knows what they could have done better. I do not partake in beating down people that are already beaten, I will not partake in it

Our midfield was quite thin
Our game was predictable
Nobody is to be blamed for this loss
This was our slowest match and we tried the same pattern over and over again.
I have always been weary of overhyping our chances but then this is football.
Happy that Sadiq has redeemed his image.

I say keep Eguavoen. He has a direction with the team. We should build on what we have. Allow the technical crew to study their game, learn where they got it wrong and keep working from there.

In terms of midfield play, we were outplayed.
If Tunisia needed to win this match by 3 goals, there was a chance that they could have.
We created chances because we needed to score. They just kept it tight and simple
