All these happening on our soil and someone is up there saying there is no money for the war. But there is money for looting by politicians... There is money that can be used to sustain the naira against the FX. There is money to conduct presidential election.

There are alot of unemployed youths wishing they can join the army. Look at the numbers of candidates that applied for police force.

If we don't have money to buy hardwares, then let's contract innoson and proforce to build vehicles, employ the thousands of youths needed for the operation and march into Borno state towards lake Chad. What we can't make up in weapons, we do it the old conventional way... Boots on ground.

I knw many people will be saying I don't knw more about war than the military heads. With all what the military heads knw, this is ten years plus and the war is ongoing. They only thing they do is repel attacks.

Take this gaddam war to camps of BH.... The after effects of employing many foot soldiers is far far better than the humanitarian and economics crisis we are facing now.

Just look at the innocent children up there. Robbed off their innocent childhood.

It's the army I blame atimes...clear all these crooks stabilize the country and hand over back...+- 5 years and the war would be over...!!

The army we have now just sit and be doing follow follow trying to be professional and getting killed like chicken....!!! The kind of democracy we are practicing would never help the war effort....The army need be in control to end this thing quickly....!!!

Abacha stole and mismanage resource but groups like this dare not erupts in this nation.

You are even talking as if the civilian leaders aren't stealing and mismanaging our resources.

Is it not when you are alive that you can talk about if our resources is been mismanaged or not.

If they like, let them mismanaged all the resources, but let the populace have peace, we can survive on that.

Unfortunately things have changed, many things that happened during military ruled might fail now, Nigeria is a very much a militarized and polarised society, the military taking power would spell doom for the country, that alone could could spark up several new conflicts

ISWAP terrorists should stop now listening to their sponsors including their cheer leaders on twitter who are leading them to their needless deaths because this what will happen if the remaining ones held hostage for a lost cause don't surrender. Propaganda will not win them this war and they know it. No one cares about that anymore knowing they are at the receiving end of some of the most advanced lethal weapons ever invented by man. There is no outcome expected by any sane military expert other than the nigh annihilation of ISWAP in the coming offensive that will only reduce them to common criminals left for the NPF to deal with and that's not a very good prospect.

Soon to be thrown into the fray are Special Warfare Operators from DHQ. Bidding time.

Oga the army is the only institution holding this country together now and even at that dying needlessly in this war brought by the politicians...the polarity in the country is all hand work of the politicians...what we need now is peace and safety and we can never get that under this democracy we are currently practicing....!! The army unlike the politicians have just one color and which is green and that alone would go a long way to curb most if not all of these troubles plaguing this country....!!!

NA Combat Troops Kill 49 Terrorists, another lump sum surrender of over 800 terrorists. These islamafascists terrorists are taking a serious beating on an unprecedented scale and the Nigerian military hasn't even gone on offensive. ISWAP is in trouble and no escape.

All NGA troops should be kitted like this!

With rifle lockers in vehicles for the Police, so foot patrol is done only with holstered weapon

Patrolling solely with holstered weapons though not without it's advantage is a bad idea..
Imagine a situation where u get pinned down and can't get to the vehicle... Obviously u are toasted since u cannot return fire with pistol which is likely to be out of range of engaging enemy forces...

I referred specifically to police operations for holstered weapons sir.

Maybe I could be clearer and say police operations in Urban areas.

BEWARE OF FAKE ADMISSION NOTIFICATIONS INTO NAF COLLEGE OF NURSING

The attention of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has been drawn to a fake and fraudulent admission notification currently circulating on various social media platforms. The originator of the purported admission nomination into “ND/HND programmes” at the NAF College of Nursing (NAFCON) directs unsuspecting applicants to pay a non-refundable fee of N15,500 at the “Office of the Registrar”. To perpetrate his unlawful act, this particular fraudster went further to provide phone numbers, email address and a website as follows;08123366242, 08084683594; forceeducationunit@yahoo.com; aabadmus.com.ng. It is disheartening that despite repeated warnings by the NAF, some members of the public still fall prey to the unwholesome and nefarious activities of fraudsters and con men who swindle them of their hard-earned money for admissions that do not exist.

While the NAF is frantically making efforts to track and identify this particular fraudster and others to bring them to justice, the NAF wishes to state that currently, the NAFCON has not commenced or advertised for any admission into ND or HND Nursing at the College. The general public should also be informed that so far, the National Board for Technical Education has approved only the ND programme in General Nursing for the College, which is yet to be advertised. Accordingly, information regarding admission into ND General Nursing programme at NAFCON would be communicated to the general public through the NAF website, www.airforce.mil.ng and other verified NAF official social media platforms. Members of the public are hereby advised to disregard any advert placement circulating in the social media on admission into NAFCON.

DIRECT ACCESS TO NIGERIAN ELITE WARPLANES | THE NAF SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA'S MOST ADVANCED AND LETHAL AIR FORCE

Only a delusional security analyst will go to town on a foreign media and twitter to whine ISWAP has permanent training bases. If amateur child soldiers is what they have left to throw at us clearly shows they have been badly wounded and bleeding and bleeding very badly and no stop to the bleeding. Someone remember the end of World War 11 and the end of the Nazi Reich with the Hitler youth, apparently history has a way of repeating itself. Any terrorists that do not surrender will be reduced to minced meat and their media collaborators will be fished out. The terrorists cause is a futile and lost war. It is only going to end one way: victory for the Armed Forces of Nigeria. The Nigerian military is not going anywhere. This is our land. We are here to stay.
