I bought my 11pro max March 2020, for 400k and it has never given me issues when I visited a phone shop to buy charger I asked them how much they would buy my phone if I decided to sell they priced 345k. Same thing I did with my Mac Pro I sold it added some cash and got a new 2020 model.
When it comes to retaining value Apple is king just like Toyota
Apple and Samsung are on the same price level if you are talking about the cheaper varieties of android phones my opinion would have been different

11 Pro Max and S20

You're not supposed to compare a pro version with the base variant of the Samsung though but I know for certain the S20 is faster and has a better display than the 11 pro max

Some brands also need phones with a good camera quality to take pictures of their product so they can upload online. No be everything be about slay queen. Some online applications requires a video presentation too. Will you start running helter skelter in the name of borrowing a phone? People have their reasons for opting for phone with a sophisticated features.

Wont be bias here. Iphone 13 pro performs better in terms of battery and camera this time. For durability, that is subjective but iphone 13 pro comes with stainless steel frame and more water resistance than the s21 ultra Watch youtube for more reviews.

Maybe you watched the wrong review, checking both specifications you won't even compare S21 ultra with 13 Promax not pro sef.... S21 ultra beat them hands down for camera, battery life and all... go check specifications on gsmarena

A) The hype is in your head. Other than that it doesn't exist anywhere in the world
B) You operated it like an android thus missing out of the whole experience. You don't operate a cruise ship like a cargo ship.
C) The phone was not meant for everybody. The company has said so even to the point that they are tired of saying it. If you don't like how the choose to operate, then go to the competition. It's still a smartphone that will make your life easier

The only advantage s21 has over 13 pro is the zoom and hacked app. I love my iPhone
