Oil dey your head brother! Iheanacho is not an AM. He is a second striker. Brendan Rodgers has said this time and time again. Why Rohr and Eguavoen kept trying to push this thing I'll never understand(no I don't think we played a 4-4-2, it was a 4-2-3-1/4-4-1-1).
There were so many ways Eguavoen could've mixed up that midfield!
Aribo should be played as an AM or a CM in a 4-3-3. Gerrard noticed he was better off a bit further upfront or even outwide than playing as a pivot.

To be candid the woes of rohr started the moment he tried to accommodate nacho in the lineup playing nacho as an attacking midfield then you need a very solid midfield to cover up for his workrate; cos he won't contribute nothing defensively and he won't press from the front: but be rest assured attack wise he will create chances even score goals, Tunisian were very smart they saw this loopholes and really outsmarted us; they knew if they let us play from the wings, we are gonna be too strong for them; that's was why the forced play from the midfield cos they know for sure we are one man short in the midfield; and they exploited that very well. Moving forward as a team; if we are gonna be accommodating nacho in the midfield then we need to switch to a diamond shaped 4-4-2 you play nacho as AMF with Ndidi sitting deep aribo and onyeka playing the advance role; playing this kind of formation will even make us toothless offensively compared to the traditional double pivot midfield, but defensively we will be strong had it been eguavoen did this immediately second half yesterday; then we would have repeled the attack against our midfield successful and likely won't have faced the iwobi red card issues; the technical crew have alot of works to do; they need to active not passive or reactive to opposition tactics oh God!! I trust my Thomas tuchel grin grin.

Papi Andrew, please add Guinea to the list of countries conquered. For debutants Gambia has been exceptional as the Hon. Icon4s has also noted.
They are doing so well

Yes they are better. How do you want to argue it? Statistics? Both have more goals in higher ranked leagues. Qualities? Both are taller, more physical, more technical, younger, and they prove it everyday by scoring in more competitive leagues. How else?

The only thing working in Ighalo's favour is history, and these are young players so it doesn't fly. This is just like saying Cavani is better than Osimhen or Vlahovic.

Cavani is better than osimhen and vlahovic ,abeg No bring cavani come here as example

Put current cavani for seria A with regular game time e go guarantee you 20 goals at worst at his old age ooo

Please which higher ranked league has sadiq played in ?

He goofed big time, modern coach don't wait till you mess before you're being substituted grin odoi was substituted in half time tuchel commot am 74 minutes; cos it was obvious he wasn't playing to his instructions. It was very obvious yesterday Tunisia forced play for the middle, we are one man short in the midfield so he needed to be more creative and tweak the formation immediately after the first half ,the likes of aribo struggled throughout the first half they have choked everybody up. Sometimes you need to sacrifice offense football and play dirty, we played very well yesterday and yet we lost; Tunisia didn't play very well yet they won cheesy cheesy we needed a win not a show of offensive play grin

He is not a midfilder. Play him as a Striker or SS but never as a midfilder. Never!

The 1994 team set that we’re eulogizing because of their 424 formation got eliminated at the round of 16 because the way you guys eulogize them, one would that thought that they won the World Cup. Our 2013 team equally matched their achievement. Also, they even had traditional wingers I.e Amunike and finidi not wing/forward

Nigerian league of 2022 is no Where near how it was in 2004. Enyeama was a back to back CAF champions league winner with Enyimba with big CAF champions league experience. So he was already well grounded with continental football.

We need the best goalies irrespective of where they are based. That's all.
Vincent Enyeama was not grounded when he made the team to 2002 WC,he was second choice to Dele Aiyenugba when he joined Enyimba....He was called due to Austin Ejude unconvincing displayed....If you remember Ejide kept some of our friendlies prior to 2002 WC....Enyeama had only a Kenya friendly which was our last match to WC and he showed that confidence. He made the team as second choice and was chosen ahead of Shorunmu against England and did well, just a second cap after Kenya match.

We have keepers in NPFL better than Maduka and Uzoho but Alloy Agu was just lazy....Coach Amusa Adisa gave Enyeama,Ejide and Aiyenugba needed opportunities and they excel.

What were the positives from our match yesterday.
What can we do better going forward.
For me we might have to sacrifice wing play as we don't cross the ball for another pattern or simply get more players who can.
Also we don't have a goal keeper for now. Both are rookies

I personally would have put in Semi Ajayi at the 80 minute mark and played only long balls. The problem was that the service was heading to the wings instead of route 1 to the striker. We never seemed like we were throwing the kitchen sink at the Tunisians. IMO bringing in Ahmed Musa was waving the white flag.

Yes, they are better than Ighalo. Dennis is a winger who can fill in at CF so you can't compare.

Football is no longer so rigid.

Dennis is a forward player who plays as a striker for Watford.

This is the mindless emotive OTT we do with our players and when they don't perform we murder them in cold blood with our derogatory comments.

But Eguavoen brought in Sadiq and we played long balls to him, he did well and created chances. So that was not why we lost.
