On the flip side, I have a feeling that Sammie Okposo had serious challenge with his wife and walked away into the arms of this American mistress. His wife got the evidence and reported him to his spiritual mentors who coerced him to make a U-turn. He in turn wanted to use the negative story to become a spiritual hero by boldly issuing public apology.

The issue is that as far as the problem with his wife persists, the sparks or incentive that attracted him to his American mistress will still take him back to America. And it may just a permanent relocation.

The term CHEATING does not have a Biblical reference point. Particularly, as the basis for your indignation is from a supposed Christian in perspective.

There are two sins in the context of sexual impropriety.

Which are Fornication which is sexual relationship with a female who is not your wife or exclusive preserve (Concubine). And Adultery vwhich is sex with the wife of another man.

After the imposition of Roman political, Social economic and religious rulership in Jerusalem. There was the apostasy of the Church and the departure from servant collective leadership ( The plurality of Eldership) to the Pyramid hierarchy structure of be Bishops ( Roman Catholic religious politics rulership)

We then moved to the White Washing of the Bible creating a schism in perception, which allowed for the imposition of Eurocentric based cultural norms and practices.

Biblical Marriage is not a partnership but Leadership by men. Many have abrogated this responsibility in the name of misguided modernity. The wedding ceremony is not Biblical it's cultural adoption. And not based on scripture but culture and the vows therein not scriptural and therefore not binding.

Therefore if it's not scriptural then it's not tenable.

Men and women are not the same in the Bible and are not equal. That's a Biblical FACT. The Bible in it's entirety is patriarchal and is an affront to modern day idealogy.

David a man after God's heart, had how many WIVES and CONCUBINES❓ yes this is true. God even through the Prophet says, I would have given you more if you wanted. Abraham a friend of God how many WIVES and CONCUBINES ❓❓

I see no reason why he should be told to even step down and or pay penance. As some are saying, he did not commit adultery or Fornication and if this Woman is his exclusive preserve then she is a Biblical defined Concubine.

From my personal perspective I do prefer one man one wife and have no desire for a concubine because the other option is is fraught with many issues and l am not wise enough to take that option.


Finally God's chosen one is lsrael ,who was birthed from two wives and two concubines. Let's be careful with what we think is God's will it may be sincere ignorance.
