Try and make it 7milllion naira it will get u to Canada, worst worst 6.5 milli. U will work and study as well. Work dey Canada just to sustain u small. All the lecturers with masters I have spoken to na money no make them never go Canada go do PHD. at least u need some funds to go first before u go start to dey collect free funding from your school.


For UK same process. U apply for admission less than 50k for admission. Once u gain admission. U pay fees less than 2m or 2m depending on the course and university. After that u use your admission letter apply for student visa that's express u will get it ..then travel ticket should be 300-400k ....other small money fit enter ..in student visa for masters u hv the opportunity to work and school..for Canada they give u post graduate opportunity to stay back and work and u can still apply for PR and get it easily.

For UK ..

It depends on the program of your choice.... Bsc, Msc etc. Generally, minimum tuition for UK schools is £13,000... You'll be allowed to make part payment and complete your the rest of your tuition as after you might have been complicated your registration.

Visa fee .$120

Health surcharge... It varies.... But not less than £850 and above.

Living Expenses per month: London.... £1,260/month

Your sponsor MUST have minimum balance of #15 - 20 million NGN in his account for minimum period of 30days at the visa application stage.

Tuition fees for university of British Columbia and other top universities in Canada more ranked than UK universities won't cost that much for tuition fees especially in STEM courses for post graduate.
How much then did my course mate paid for tuition fees in university of leeds in the UK if it cost that much.

It is very important for you to tell us what route you intend to use to travel to any of these countries. Is it education, business or just tourism? If you wish to settle down in UK as a postgraduate student, then, 7 million naira should be ok.

That's not a STEM course. So most likely, STEM courses will cost more.
You can check Google for UK schools and see for yourself.

Only a few schools, maybe under 5 are cheap in the UK for masters, costing less than 11k pounds. And even in those schools, not all courses are that cheaps.

To go UK now, you need at least 5-6 million, (say you have your PoF sorted). The schools are changing and the payment in installment is not like before. Most schools now require 50% of tuition to be paid before you enrol. They are getting stricter because people only pay deposit and come up with stories when they get to UK.

Long story short, japa na money issue.

It depends on the course, the reputation and the job market for that course you're studying and the place you're going to studying. For example some cities are way more expensive to live than the other.
The average to study isn't that figure you're cooking up.
I will prefer to study in Canada than UK because UK na over hype nonsense.
7milllion naira to 8 million should be OK for post graduate in UK but depending on the university you are going to study and the city.
