What the hell are you talking about? What "casualty" did Russia suffer recently? Please do tell because I've been following the Russian-Ukrainian crisis keenly. The only casualties on the news in the past week are Ukrainian soldiers killed by a lone gunman.

And I don't recall Russia compromising on it's demands and requesting for a renegotiation. The Russians still demand that Ukraine does not become a member of NATO, and trust me Russia will ensure that happens covertly or overtly. Keep in mind that Russia is still pouring troops at the border and has encircled Ukraine. It is the Americans and NATO that are presently jittery because they can't read Putin's mind.
