I have been in lowest of lows in my life, have been mocked by friends at some point, was told point blank that I would not succeed in my business ideas which were odd and unachievable. In fact my own mother told me to look for job like my mates and leave the nonsense business idea I was working on. My father was the only one giving me hope and courage. He even told me not to bother buying bread whenever I came back to see them and he would rather give me some money for transport back to the city. Why am I telling this stupid story? The answer is all through those travails, it never occurred to me to commit suicide. If ever you've had an idea to take your own life, run to the hospital asap because you are definitely insane and I don't mean it in an insulting way.

Harsh in the sense that you need to learn how to air your opinion without been offensive. At the second bolded, please correct it, it is an insult to those battling depression. Use calming words instead of insult.

I think this depression issue is a serious shit.
Most people don't talk about it because of the stigma attached. There should be inclusion and support, I have also been and sometimes still depressed, but what help me is communication, not every body have the luxury of finding someone to pour there hearts to. Most people think that when you are poor, then you can be depressed, but what most don't realize is that even when you are relatively okayish, depression can still knock you. A lot of situations can cause depression.
But sincerely speaking, communication, support and inclusion are the three biggest things that can help suppress this shit.
