VonVictor:It is a bad idea for a single person with full funding to mention sponsor. In my experience, the visa officer will focus on your sponsor and evaluate you like someone with scholarship. Full funding with 1m personal account is fine. Some people with less have gotten their visa. The applicant may have made a small but egregious mistake in the application. |

No, no and no, I didn't. And I have renewed my study permit twice after first approval. Renewed spousal permit and child visit visa, twice after first approval. If fact, the last renewal was approved yesterday. I have *NEVER* used any account statement apart from funding letter. Osemigho: |

Good afternoon everyone, I registered my business name on CAC's website on the 4th of September 2019 of which it was active then. So today I decided to check the validity of my CAC certificate prior to my son's study visa application, but surprisingly my business was tagged as inactive. Would this be a problem to my son's application? as I am his sponsor. If yes how can this issue be resolved |

Foladimejiw:Alright, thanks for the opportunity. I am stuck with either choosing a university or a college. I want to study comp science and i noticed that it is offered more in unis than colleges. In your opinion, Is there an advantage to picking a college over a uni? What uni did you pick for your son? P.S- i want to reduce expenses so i found a uni that costs over a thousand less than most colleges for my course. |

One more thing, i haven't heard anyone here mention applying to the university of regina. Does anyone here know the school? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Foladimejiw: 4:29pm On Feb 02, 2022 |
The College tuition is cheaper than Uni. His course is in College and the elder sister is a graduate student in the University. Both same city in Ontario. I hope this helps Divinedxtrovert: |

lilangel20:So sorry about this. This is just a temporary setback. Can you post the refusal letter you received along with details of the documents that you submitted? Kind regards |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Osemigho: 4:52pm On Feb 02, 2022 |
lilangel20:You may need to contact gurus or more experienced persons to look at your profile and documents submitted. Whoever you choose is your decision. However, try to increase your account balance to 700k to 1m minimum and submit a good LOE. You will need the LOE because your experience and proposed program no match. Also order your GCMS note to know the real issue. All the best. |

If she applies before her 17th birthday, she'll be 16th to IRCC and need a custodian if not, she's good to go. Tcrown2020: |
