1. Academic IELTS 6.5 overall (5.5 in all skills) or other English language test accepted by this university. I don't have IELTS but I do have NECO, thank you

I started this journey in August, applied to 3 schools for MA Social Work, got 2 offers in October after several interviews. At some point, I had to write IELTS and a Password test

I had 7 other offers from various schools for MBA, HRM and Project Management but I knew it had to be Social work, so I decided to wait it out...

Special thanks to @Babababy, he once sent a link as a guide for visa applications and I saved it immediately. That guide later became a life saver as I didn't get stranded or have to ask for help while applying for my visa. Thanks to this thread as well, I have gotten so much information just from being here.

How do I go about getting an ATAS certificate? University of Bedfordshire said it's a requirement for my course. Is the school suppose to assist me with some information or link, or I am on my own in this??

My husband traveled with them, yes you have to do your covid 19 test in Nigeria and also book your day 2 and day 8 online because they will ask for the payment receipt which you will print out after payment.

I've uploaded the WAEC scratch card and reference they asked for, for about a week now but no feedback.

Also, please did you have to upload physical copy of WAEC scratch card? I bought on Jumia and typed out the pin and serial number then uploaded to myhull portal.
You are good to go with your response to them. They will soon get back to you or better still check myhullportal regularly for the update.

If you re fully vaccinated, you dont need to do pre departure PCR test. Just book for your day 2 PCR test.

Got an offer from both university of sunderland and Northumbria university

Sunderland was £1000 cheaper tho for tuition

But I need candid advice, which is much better in terms of jobs for students and networking

With what I have seen, I'll say NORTHUMBRIA hands down! The energy in Northumbria is surreal and the number of Nigerians there is a whole lot.
You might want to consider other factors Sha. All depends how solely on you my man!

I have offer from both as well, but the Northumbria is Unconditional, Sunderland wants my school to provide English proficiency. Back to your question, tag me if you get an answer.

Get English proficiency letter from your naija school

No he is not fully vaccinated that’s why but if you are fully vaccinated you only need to book for Day 2.. You have to pay for the Day 2 and Day 8 PCR. You will check for the clinic you want to use for the test in the Uk and choose the plan you want if it’s day 2 and 8 or only day 2 if fully vaccinated. Then you pay with your dollar card after that they will send you a payment confirmation mail and a code which you will print out and present at the airport when boarding.
