yeah gambia makes most of her revenue from tourism... Dem no really get natural resources... Nigeria is a sinking ship... With terrorism and kidnappings everywhere...nobody will want to visit Nigeria... And we are so blessed but equally corrupt.... The kids that have been abducted since January by bandits is a record thank the President and other elements that I see no country breaking

Terrible!
And the President and other elected officials act like Nigeria is working out as they planned or promised in their manifestor

I don't live there. But my friend and I have an ongoing contract there...so we visit quite often.

Electricity is not 24/7 but it is much more better than Nigeria. Also security is much better in Gambia... You can freely walk around most places in Gambia even at the dead of the night. Cases of armed robbery and killings are very low.

But outside those, every other thing is either same or worse than Nigeria.

Rent in Gambia has gone over the roof, Roads are just manageable and don't pray to be seriously sick in Gambia.

No jobs, except for teaching and other low income jobs... But you can successfully run your own business if you know what you are doing..

Still the market is small, Gambia is just about 2 million population... less than some local government areas in Nigeria...

Nonetheless... Gambia is a friendly Tourists destination country...

please how can I get there by road ?

They treat Nigerians well and the country is good for business as far as you have money to start a good business better than starting from scratch, a lot of Nigerians are doing well over there, I have been living there over a decade and I can boldly tell you it is better than countries like Turkey, SA, Dubai, most Nigerians in these countries I mentioned are just managing except you’re into Yahoo.

The cheap flight I am seeing only lands in Freetown. If I get to Sierra Leone how can I find my way to Gambia? And please I need people to hang out with
please my people I want to go to Gambia by road how will I do it please

Why by road that will take you 5-6 days? Flight (about 5hrs) is cheaper now. Going by road will cost you about 150k and I think Air Peace is now about 200k (one way).

But if you like adventure and wanna try by road, then you find your way to Cotonou, have about 150k cfa at hand.

There are 2 major reliable transportation companies that will take you from Cotonou to Mali, cost about 60k cfa: African Tours and Toupac Transport. Find your way to their booking office at Cotonou. When you get to Mali, African Tours can take you straight to Gambia at 30k cfa but you will be paying for stamping at diff Mali and Senegal immigration posts.

There are other transportation companies... But they are not reliable... To avoid spending extra days and money on the road please avoid them.
