Congrats to Africa's Best, The King Lions of the Continent: Senegal Congrats to Chriskels' perseverance with his West African relatives among which also include Ivory Coast and Mali. The best team won. The most talented team won. A team that will boast the highest number of players in an African Best XI today won. A team that boasts Africa's finest GK today. A team that has Africa's #1 LW today. A team that boasts Africa's undisputed Number 1 CB. It is their second golden generation (after the Generation led by El Hadji Diouf in the early 2000s) and they have been around for a while, growing together, adding more quality and maturing. They also fell together in 2019 but fought back to get to the same stage they fell at Last edition and NOW.... ....Finally their reward is the Ultimate Prize. A trophy that now officially cements them as indeed the Best on the continent. Congrats Senegal. Congrats Teranga Lions. And Congrats to all those who outrightly predicted a Senegal triumph. My greatest Joy is for Sadio Mane. The #10 of My Dream League Squad and FUT team deserves this moment. Africa's reigning APOTY finally has his hands on Africa's greatest prize. He is deservedly the tournament's MVP. It is Third time lucky for Senegal. No team has ever lost their first 3 finals at a go. Senegal just preserved that tradition. Kudos to Africa... We did great. Kudos also to Eto and the people of Cameroon for a successful AFCON hosting. Despite all the Covid-19 challenges and subtly demeaning attempts by the European clubs to truncate this great tournament, we went on to host it and it was a huge success aside the mild dramas of course.. 1 Like 1 Share |

andrewbaba44:The guy is good. Has a good sense of positioning. If I am a GK coach there is one thing I would look at for: a GK with an instinctive sense of positioning. It makes diving unnecessary in many cases cos you are where you need to be. Some have it naturally and hone it over the years while some develop it with time |

Joezinho:Cowardly strategy. They scored just 2 goals in open play. Imagine if they had won with this kind of wuru wuru - to - the - answer football, the apostles of gidigbo football would have gone on an evangelical ride telling us how ugly football gets results. It is a shame to football that Egypt even got this far, scoring just two goals in open play throughout the tournament. I spit on such type of football abeg 2 Likes 1 Share |
