FreeStuffsNG: Its too early to start absolving anybody of corruption, Lagos has been in the same party for more than 22 years, yet the state still remains an eyesore. The Fashola you talked about constructed borehole with over 100Million Naira, borehole that is been constructed by the likes of Saheed and Femi for N200,000:00. Mr Gbajabiamila was indicted in the U.S for stealing a client money. The one that pained me most in your write up is that of BAT whose entire existence has been marred with outright fraud. There is nobody who can tell where he got his money and on the eve of an election he drove 2 bullion van into his compound and yet you want to paint him as a saint. As Much as i detest GEJ administration for been so frivolous with the common patrimony that doesn't mean that the other opposition party were saint too. They all contributed to the myriads of problem we are facing today. 7 Likes 1 Share |

FreeStuffsNG: Firstly, I put it to you that you are nowhere near an aboriginal Indigene of Lagos. If you're are going by Law, probably some northerners in Lagos are even more Lagosian than you. So stop that self deception. The fact that we have people like you who choose to pick side between theives is appalling. Nigeria has a long way to go. Yes, defectors don't hold sway in today's government nevertheless it doesn't make them less corrupt or put Nigerians in a better place. No. In these Buhari years, we have witnessed the height of Poverty, Insecurity, Corruption, Inflation and Crime. If in doubt, refer to national and international references on these Statistics . This wasn't the case during the previous administration. The reality is this, you can't dodge these stated facts with words or pass blame to past administration. That's weak. The inept, corrupt and incompetent government of Buhari and APC got us into this mess. 4 Likes 1 Share |

dokyOloye:Why would they accept restructure when your kinsmen will gladly sell your future away to their northern masters for a penny? You all keep insulting northerners about how uneducated and uninformed they are but in reality they are the most informed & have used the most most educated & informed kinsmen among you to stupor. Your educated & informed men and women aids them abokki in looting away your oils and future away and leave your kinsmen the crumbs, now tell nairaland who is dumb and informed among the two bastads? 5 Likes |

Lol. Yoruba, accodring to sentimental and clannish Igbos, "betrayed" GEJ. History will always vindicate Yorubas, though not perfect, as the most upright, most compassionate and most politically responsible of the major Nigerian ethnic groups all things taken into account. When some of us insisted that GEJ and his corrupt cronies had to leave because solid evidence show they literaly looted Nigeria into the ground, we know those who continue to hanker for the return of GEJ till today for clannish and ethnocentric reasons. Restructuring cannot come soon enough. Nigeria can remain one but everyone should go and build from their regional base. We are different people. Let those who want a clueless looter like GEJ as Nigeria's President accept him as the leader of their region. I will gladly choose Tinubu, any day, to lead the SW and will then go to bed to sleep soundly knowing the future is assured. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Anti-corruption investigators and activists suspect he fronted for top officials of the Goodluck Jonathan administration as well of officials of Shell and ENI. The transaction was authorised in 2011 by ex-president Jonathan through some of his cabinet ministers and the money was payment for OPL 245, one of Nigeria’s richest oil blocks. The oil resources of the OPL 245 license have remained undeveloped since the controversies began. |

Nigeria's rot and bleeding will never stop until our mumu and zoneB behaviour ends. They're gathering again to ask for your vote (another official license to steal) and again we would only complain and run away from the country. The next person starts his looting. Repeated foolishness! |

FreeStuffsNG:Crap as usual. If I remember right, Dan etete was petrolium minister during abachas time and allocated a very lucrative oil block to himself. In fact one of the richest oil blocks. Obj came in and the fgn tried revoking it. Etete ie Malibu commenced litigation which was not favorable to fgn as the block could not be developed. Negotiation had to take place between the oil companies interested, fgn and Malibu hence the meeting above. Do you know what signature bonus is? The above transaction was purely commercial between Malibu and the oil companies, the fact that signature bonus was extracted for fgn was a plus. Who you should blame is Dan etete for giving himself the choicest oil block as petrolium minister, by as usuall you play to the gallery being smart by half. |
