Happy new year folks.

And sad news about Phonzie. Some of my doctor friends told me no such thing as mild myocarditis so let's just be hoping. This Covid business is really a menace. From Kun, Eriksen, Aubameyang, even Coman there seems to be an uptick of players with some form of heart issue

Congratulations to Robert Lewandowski. The true deserving winner of the Best Player in the World. Recognized by the World governing football body not the French Complete Sports award

Raumdeuter calls it Polling booth award, so let us hear word. cheesy

Niklas Sule will not be extending and will be leaving on a free transfer. Either Zakaria Rudiger or Christensen will be free. We can try to replace Sule with one of those

Christensen might be cheaper though

He never loved the club, the idiot once preferred playing for Assanal and NoTenham ChilledSpurs than playing for us.

The whole story makes me think he’s slow in the head.

I wish they remove Zakaria from that list and go for who would agree to cede a little paying time to Nianzou. Nianzou is due to get his chances.

Zakaria is more of a defensive midfielder too and not really a CB

We have Nianzou Upamecano Hernandez for CB we need an extra defender also a backup to Pavard

How about we get a quality right back and move Pavard to CB and then introduce Jamie Lawrence to the senior team to rotate with the CBs? The boy (Jamie) is confident with the ball and seems solid from the little I’ve seen of him.

We do these and see how the lads develop and gel, we can then look for a quality CB if it doesn’t work out.

We have 3 CBs already and Pavard can deputize as CB if needed, We have been trying to get a correct right back for some time we have tried to use Chris Richards as RB, we chased Sergino Dest, We panicked to buy Bounna Sarr and some games even tried Sule there. Getting a RB has been challenging while there are a many CBs in the market

That is why we have been using Pavard as Right Back for so long

I have never seen Jamie Lawrence play, There is a guy we have been monitoring in MLS at FC Dallas Justin Che, I have watched him live on two occasions, He is like a Trent Arnold type right back, he can deliver a good cross but he is not very strong defensively

The board is still playing mickey-mouse politics with the right back position. I hope it doesn’t come back to backfire us this second half of the season.

And why I think we need a RB more than a CB is because Pavard is originally a CB, hence he can fill in for Süle when he leaves, but then we would be left with Bouna Sarr and Stanisic as our only RBs.

We need a RB who can offer same thing or at least something close to what Phonzie offers.
Che didn’t join us cos management couldn’t promise him playing time, let’s see how he progresses at Hoffenheim.

IMO I think we need a RB more than a CB

Happy New Year, bro! Good to see you are still around.
I think you are a bit harsh on Suele. I'm also disappointed that he failed to extend his contract but a few things must have influenced his decision.

I think Niklas doesn't feel appreciated and valued like some of his age mates at the club. This is his sixth season here and he has not really looked like a senior member of the team. His weight has been a topic of discussion internally from time to time during his stay here and some dumb fans have even questioned if he has the elite mentality to succeed at a superclub like Bayern just because he's laid-back and not as vocal as Kimmich and Muller. The unfair criticism and scrutiny is enough to make him reconsider his options.

This was supposed to be the season where he comes into his own after the exit of Boateng and Alaba. He has played well this season but he probably suspects, as i do that Nagelsmann would mostly play his boy Upa over him when he has to pick between the two of them as Lucas is an undisputed starter when fit. The 5-0 loss to Gladbach comes to mind. Sule was on the bench for that game while Upa put up a disasterclass.

I wish him all the best wherever he ends up going and i hope he leaves on a high.

Good morning boss. Wishing you the best this new year and next.

I won’t deny I’m being harsh on him.

I couldn’t fathom the reason he wanted to leave us for fücking Arsenal and Tottenham. Many people have said it was during Kovac time as Coach, but he wasn’t the only one playing for Bayern under Kovac. From the leaked text he exchanged with his then agent, he clearly fancied playing for this little clubs over us. I was just disappointed and I won’t miss him. To him, we are just a stepping stone to his desire of playing in the EPL even if it’s for Fulham.

He isolated himself from the leadership rank of Bayern cos he’s never had the Mia San Mia spirit, hence not many people sing his praises.

Imagine someone who joined us in 2016 and wanted to leave for Tottenham or Arsenal in 2018/19 despite the fact that we gave him a lot of support during his injury periods, now he’s talking about lack of support and appreciation for wanting to leave even when he was offered a €10m contract.

We sold most jerseys in Europe last season.

Hopefully this success continues.

It's crazy that anyone would want to leave Bayern at this point in time. I mean he has a chance to create a dynasty and make history with his friends and he's only just getting into his prime.

Well, he has always wanted to play in the PL and i think he will end up at Chelsea. Funny enough, we might be getting one of Rudiger and Christensen as his replacement. Talk about swapping free agents grin Newcastle would be one wild move if they manage to stay up but i don't think Sule would want to waste his prime years.

They said he’s already had serious talks with an “unnamed” club.

Let’s see the decision he takes once more.

To be fair, Tolisso is in good form at the moment and i have a feeling Roca would have struggled with the pace and intensity of Leipzig yesterday. He is a bit on the slow side.

I just wanted to point it out, not that I was expecting him to feature in yesterday’s match.

I will be looking forward to what Nagglesman does with him in our next 2 matches.

It's going to be a bit difficult for him to get back into the team. Almost everyone, except Goretzka is back. Even if Tolisso gets injured, which seems inevitable, there is still Sabitzer. I even hear Nagelsmann is planning with Musiala in central midfield.

2. Dude is weirder than I expected.

Chelsea is trying to offload 3 defenders, 2 around his age. Barcelona has a glut of players too who they don't know what to do think Barcelona should put their money on Haaland

Sule would have been a perfect fit ,Gerard Piqué is 35 , Araujo is our best CB ,Eric García is good but Niklas Sule will be an upgrade .
