I couldn't have mocked him. I only wanted to know if i can share ideas and real life experience with him. I knew many people with HIV experiences, bad, good and ugly ones. For real, it is better not to experience it than to look for solace.

Sorry about that , however the drug was avoidable if you had listened .

Anyway that is not the end of life, manage your life now, your diet now. Live life normally and pray foe miracles cos God is still working wonders.
Lastly make sure you attend to it cos if not properly treated , it can result into sudden death. HIV is not a death sentence and you need to keep going with life

While it is not the end of the world, the latter stage of being HIV + is not funny and should not be experienced at all. I have witnessed people at the critical stage of HIV + die. Whatever they tell you to do now in terms of drug-taking and routine check ups, don't play with them. Those drugs are helpful in controlling the viruses' count and growth. Although the drugs are very powerful, they affect the brain and mood, please don't stop taking them. If you stop taking the drugs because of their side effects, it will graduate to AIDS and that is a death sentence. I have just finished taking care of one who has died, the experience is nothing to write home about. Worse still, if you don't have someone to care for you then.
