For now, having a scholarship— NAWA, ERASMUS, any other Polish Government Scholarship or Polish University scholarship— guarantees getting an almost immediate appointment.

If not, visa appointment is a vicious Russian roulette which no one understands the process.

Poland just wasted someone’s time, man has to wait for July/September as the case may be cos obviously most countries have closed admissions.

Good evening guys,

It been a while here
Poland embassy must say have humbled us
My advice now for those who have not started anything at all, be ready for heartache yes poland is one of the easier schengen countries to navigate but getting an appointment is close to impossible i have a friend in ukraine you would be the one to tell the embassy when it is suitable for you (u can reschedule) but like we all know everything comes hard in nigeria at this moment we should be looking at a solution or an alternative
My advice for those waiting for appointments hence getting regret mail every 5:20pm on Saturdays pls mail your school know about the refund and deferral policy cause honestly this days the school and embassy looks like they are working together school comes with an unfair policy/contract, the embassy comes with a consistent regret mail
In all let us be prayerful and have clinical thinking as a nigerian wey we dey struggle we no suppose dey lose money to oyinbo hence why i dont advice anyone to appeal number 10 €80 no be small money

Good evening grin

Check the school website, every information is there. All courses they are offering are there too both polish and English courses, requirements, fees and procedures are there. For 2022/2023 Academic session, they will announce the procedures and any other information you need to know between April and May while the main application starts by June. If you really want to apply, you have to start preparing your documents, like authentication and legalisation. You can email the international office for any questions that might be personal.

[quote author=kid7soccer post=109999819] go to Wroclaw but we don't have accommodation. Na student Depot or you try renting a place out side campus which is very difficult. Because if you don't get your visa your deposit is gone. As for private dorm don't try it except you father is very rich.

Wroclaw= many opportunities
bydgoszcz= a good place but no much opportunity[

Thanks, I think I will go for wsg, I belive I will see per time work there.
I just love the school structure and their modules aswell

See a Nigerian, your fellows has been here asking "has anyone gotten appointment with the embassy", you who has gotten it, kept silent, now that you have had issue on your interview, you remembered the forum for solution. That is selfishness, share your information. Assuming you have opened up to this forum that you going for your interview, please house any tips for a successful interview, maybe you may have been referred to some pages in this forum, where you will be well equipped for the questions and guidance on how to go about some certain things, or someone would have guild you on some certain things, but you keep it to yourself. Also, assuming you were successful, I doubt that you would have told us that, talk less of sharing your interview transcript. Let's learn not to be selfish. Am sorry if I have offended you with my words, but that's how I feel, and I can't hold it. I wish you a successful appeal.

Despite the mood i am right now, and my present predicament, i will not answer you the way i feel i ought to.
i have once been in your shoe looking out for date before i got to this stage, so i know how you feel.
But brother, understand on thing, feeling is different and always know when to blab and when to be serious.

I got to know about Poland through a friend and was introduced to a whatsapp group. i still belong to this group till this day until when this happen and i was advised and told to sought for help everywhere.
i have not been here before, the last time i entered nairaland was when i was on Germany package.
So bro, i am not here for you if you cant help me, just slide.

Icydan:

Ministry of foreign affairs
SORRY for this.
you will still need to authenticate after eligibility status has been confirmed.
see this below:
For those that want further their education abroad or those that have studied aborad and need to authenticate their certificates and other relevant documents, these are some steps to be followed:

FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO SCHOOL ABROAD:

1. You go to ministry of education Abuja (Federal Secretariat) 8th Floor that's where the office is (prepare to use the stairs cos the lift is not always up dew to power failure)

You need to take all your credentials there (WAEC/NECO very important), they will ask for the certificate before the others, they may ask you for a print out of the result u are using (NECO/WAEC), print and hold the scratch card cos usse will use the serial number there. The cards are like N300 each but there its sold at N600 each and printing is N150.

2. You will get a form to fill for the authentication process. The form is sold from N100 - N500 depending on who is selling the forms that day.

3. You will then go and make payments (each document you want to authenticate will cost N300 for now), they will calculate and tell you how much you will pay. they will direct you to a bank (Diamond).

4. Before you get to the bank, find a cyber cafe around (groung floor near Zenith Bank) tell them you to help you generate payment ID from Remita. That ID is what you will use to pay in to the government account at Diamond Bank.

5. Photocopy the teller and go ask of IPPIS or Revenue office (ground floor) there there they will collect the teller and sign o the photocopy.

6. Then you go back to 8th floor and submit then wait or they will tell you when to come back.
NOTE: Dont laminate your documents yet cos they will sign and seal it
Authentication of documents is Monday to Thursday, they dont attend to people on friday.
If You can sort somebody in that office to do it for you it will be faster and it will save you alot of stress.

AFTER U ARE THRU WITH MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, YOU PROCEED TO MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS (5-8 MINUTES WALK)

1. You get there and tell them you want to authenticate your document that you have done that of education already.

2. They will collect it and tell you when to come back. Each document will cost N1000. foreign affairs has no stress and its sharp

It is advisable you put in for drawing as others do. If anyone promise you any other means, you are near to be duped. What agents do now is to register more than once on your behalf and if they jam luck, then you pay for it.

I don't think people are getting appointment via agent any longer. The appointment thing is hard now only the grace of God can one get it, i am 100% sure of this.
When i had my interview, it was two people that interviewed me and they asked me technical questions e.g
Where are you going?
What did studied in ur undergraduate?
What was your Gpa?
Why did u choose poland?
What are going to study?
What will d degree do for?
How did you applied?
See the next questions by d other white guy
What course would u want ur wife to study wen she comes to meet u in poland? Bcoz i said there won't be any need for my wife to come to poland bcoz i am only going for 1 year and 5months program and she is working. Another question come enter again
How will your family feed?
Who will look after your children wen ur wife has gone to work? Off course my wife is teaching in the same school my children are attending.
They packed Mathematics questions 4 me bcoz am going 4 applied Maths
Also emptied European map to identify.
May God see us through

Please take my honest advice and don’t attempt to appeal a number 10 denial. Success rate on number 9 & 10 appeal is non-existent.

This is not a matter of grace!

Let it go.

Greetings everyone cry

I am so devastated and I do not know if this situation can be savaged.

We all know how difficult it is to get appointment date but I finally got it. So, I got a mail from my school on the 30th of September, 2021, telling g me I would resume late and I should accept online classes and even if my visa was denied I will not get back 50% of my tuition fee.

I replied the mail telling g them I will not enrol for online classes due to our epileptic power and poor data, I would prefer to have my visa first.

Then, on the 10th of October I was sent a mail to signs some documents as it is required for my matric. And I signed and scanned back to them. Little did I know they will use it as a medium to take 50% of my tuition fee(4000 euros)

Then I was denied my visa and I appealed and I was denied again. I wrote to the school informing them of a denial and I need I tuition fee back and they said since I signed the educational documents I am automatically enrolled into the system and I will only be entitled to 50% of my money.

Please no insults as I am already broken as it is. I borrowed the money with the hope of working and paying when I get to Poland. I do not know how I am going to refund the 50% they are about to collect.

Please I need advice. Can I fight them? Can I win this? Please what can I do because I am so scared

So sorry dear. Your case is complicated, the school documents you signed will make it difficult for you to get a full refund. For example, there was a video I watched on YouTube, a student studying in Germany booked a return flight to Ghana from Germany during December holiday last year, due to Omicron variant, her return flight was cancelled by the company. When she applied for refund, they couldn't refund her 100% pay, but instead it was about 40% of the money she paid. In your case, you have already signed a contract with the school, probably the school have terms and conditions for such contract, maybe you didn't read the terms and conditions, and that is where their legal basis lies. To get your full pay will be difficult. You just have to go with the 50% and sort out how you gonna make it up to pay your creditor.
