Four policemen on stop-and-search duty in the outskirts of Enugu metropolis have been shot dead by armed hoodlums.

The incident reportedly happened at about 3pm on Saturday in Obeagu community, along Amaechi-Ekeotu-Agbani Town Road, leaving the road deserted till 7pm.

The latest attack is coming barely two days after some security officers were killed in Enugu State.

Confirming the development, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, who did not give the number of casualties said, “Police operatives have been duly deployed and are on the trail of the unknown armed assailants.

“You will be updated with further development, please,” he added.

Some of the tricycle operators plying the road, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told NAN that armed hoodlums came in a Sienna car and a Lexus Jeep and opened fire on the unsuspecting policemen on duty.

This issue can be resolved very quickly... politically.

The region is one of the tripod that got independence and should be treated equally like the north and the West.

They have been claiming being marginalized for too long and successive government have not done anything in the past to solve the problem.

They claim that the country should be united...but how can you be united when only the two regions gets everything irrespective of which party is in power?

Take the rail project for instance....the northerners can go from Abuja to Kaduna.... the westerners can go from Lagos to Ibadan...what about the easterners?

To Nigerians who are shouting patriotism up and down...is this what you guys recommend?

Please lets discuss this issue without ethnic bigotry, as violence and deaths are not the best solution.

That is the only strategy APC have in southeast to win election, they have started the same tactics they use before anambra election in enugu state just because of the local government election that is coming up soon in enugu state. And don't be surprised that most of their agent are already here to promote their script.

Last week the Armoured personal carrier crashed and killed more than military men in the east , those innocent military men should have been deployed in the North .

The Jews have now gone ahead to own most of the most powerful companies in the world or be part owners like Google, Intel, Qualcomm , Facebook , Instagram,WhatsApp while Egypt has remained an under dog of world politics living on foreign aids and leftovers from western countries and depending on the tourism revenue from western countries to survive. Egypt is not even a major power block in Africa.

So will happen to Nigeria very soon, the cost of keeping Nigeria one will far outstrip the income of Nigeria as a country leading to Nigeria taking loans to fund military acquisition and expenditure until such a time Nigeria will no longer be considered for new foreign loans , when that happens Nigeria will be forced to toe the line of Soviet union or Hindustan.

Even as Nigeria is presently constituted who are the task masters and who are the slaves , i have more than 3 Northerners serving as my security in Lagos, east and Abuja , they wash my cars clean the premises and Carry out sundry tasks and i am personally not answerable or dependent on a Northerner for anything
