Why can't a state like Lagos build a refinery?
Because
No 1 refinery is exclusive preserve of fg domiciled in nnpc

No 2 Lagos state would need to apply for a license to build a new refinery under the new act

No 3 just like power if Lagos state builds a refinery it will run into problems with fg,nnpc on the right to sale for profit because of a whole bunch of laws

No 4 it is not possible for Lagos to build a refinery

Buhari government will destroy refineries in niger delta that produce clean pms and label them illegal but will go to Belgium to import nonsense from the legal refineries.

Who else believes with me that buhari is a curse on the people of this country.

Belgium even get land to refine vegetable oil? How are we importing fuel from them? This is crazy o. It’s high time we get our acts right and shift some things from some people’s hands, stop making dumb people rich because of party.
That is where Nigeria is where it is.

The truly daft, who should be somewhere doing very simple jobs and living simple lives use connections or criminal behavior to force themselves on the nation.

No innovation, no creativity. Just sharp sharp money and shit full their head. Things like processing natural resources, security and immigration should be solely within Nigeria.

This is what we get when we can't use what we have

Abundant Crude Oil yet we import. Who cursed Nigeria?!
Height of stupidity and advanced slavery. Its just like asking me , the yam farmer to pluck my yam and send to kano to be pounded and then send the pounded yam to the south and begin to sell to customers when south is littered with timbers from which mortal and pestle can be carved almost free of charge and pound the yam at little or no cost. All it would cost is an effort or energy. Nigeria's wasteful habit is appalling

Chai... We have 4 refineries with over 100b wasted to keep it running yet we still refine crude oil from other countries.

When Atiku talk about selling NNPC some idiots called him names,i mean what's stopping this so called gaint of Africa from refining her own crude oil if not corruption.

Cha,iJesus wept.

This is what reasonable citizens should be thinking aloud...not clamouring for electing Vagabonds into power.

My take.. Anyone who has been in the corridor of power in government before should never be elected to hold any post.

They are all liars and thieves..

The recent uproar about importation of Adulterated petrol is just an indirect way of making Nigerians see reasons and accept a dangote dominated oil sector which will be launched later this year. The campaign is a good one, so long as Nigerians won't have to pay through their nose when the Dangote refinery begins to production.

shameless country, ordinarily if all this money you're borrowing was used to build at least four Refineries in Nigeria, the issue of adulterated and subsidy won't be coming up

foolish Government (FG)

If Nigeria Government is not tribalistic they would have bundled up all those illegal bunkery refining fuel and use them by building mini refineries around those South south regions to meet Nigeria’s demand for fuel.

What becomes of this country if these people refuse to send us fuel
