Don't you have inhalers in Nigeria? I've never heard of asthma being a hindrance to relationships. It must be a scary disease but all you have to do is have as many inhalers around you as you can and take precautions at all times. They take a hit of their inhaler and bam they're back to normal.

yep inhalers are available,it should help cushion the crisis effect.but for how long will the partner cope with someone always using inhaler.this I think will scare alot of guys away even when dating.imagine you and your girl having fun and suddenly crisis occurs and both of you are battling for inhaler to survive.quite pathetic.

Nothing pathetic about it. Nobody buys illness so we shouldn't discriminate on the basis of health. It's not a crisis if the person living with the condition knows how to manage it. It's people discriminating that make it dangerous because the person will have to hide their condition for fear of rejection and it's that mindset that could lead to death.

yep certainly no one is discriminating against the illness.Its not a critical illness like cancer.once there is life there will always be hope.

Each case is different from the other. The fact that she should avoid frying doesn't mean she must not go near the kitchen. Pls we should educate ourselves before writing misinformation.
Ask yourself what Asthma is, then educate yourself about how to treat it. That way you are more prepared. She can cook without stress. Not all asthmatics have problems with frying. The reason for the problem is the smoke and aroma of the oil.

Yes, there are many guys that would be willing to marry an asthmatic woman but the major problem is that not many guys are financially buoyant enough to hire cooks, cleaners etc.

At least, that would have made things easier for them and the wife's health would be well managed. It's unwise to marry an asthmatic lady without provision for her health. This type of union will break easily due to nagging, frustration and impatience.
