Third, doing it with your colleague. I don't know about her organization but I know most organizations do not tolerate a colleague dating another colleague. It's seen as highly unethical.
I wouldn't say her punishment was out of place. She probably deserved the sack especially if the rules were clearly spelt out in her office code of conduct from the onset of her employment.
