Don't know what DeRozan is smoking, but he should keep smoking it cheesy

Nigga is actually making a serious case for MVP

His midrange game is undefeated.
Midrange killers are unique especially in this era. Everybody is either shooting 3s or going to the rim.

DeRozan, Kawhi, Booker are the 3 that come easily to mind. They are the ones that are like MJ and old timers like Bernard King, George Gervin etc.

There are very few nba players that I cant bring myself to like. Normally its blockheads like the Morris brothers. But Klay hasnt done anything particularly egregious. I just no like d guy. I even like CP3 with his wahala. I have forgiven Harden, and I will tolerate Westbrick while holding my nose. But Klay just rubs me the wrong way everytime. And Im not even sure why

Likewise I don't like klay for no reason. Some people spirit no just match. I don't dislike curry but I don't really care about him despite he's a cool guy and awesome person to root for

I for example like Harden a lot despite his flaws.

I like Harden more than Durant, curry, LeBron etc. Not because he's necessary better but because my spirit just accept the guy plus he's very skillful and fun to watch especially when he's motivated

Of course, the losing streak ends against the 2nd bottom placed Pistons! Call it winning fatigue , we had a bad 3rd Q and the demons from the start of season reappeared as we struggled to keep leads and close the game. Hopefully, they have learnt important winning skills during this run as we approach the All Star break.

@A40, don't look now, one of your most hated player has expanded his offense past the midrange jumper! He now takes it to the rim, his 3 point percentage has improved and is a credible candidate for the MVP.

I know you despise him but give DeMar DeRozan his due angry angry
I don't hate DeRozan per se. Just real disappointed with his past choking

I agree he definitely is top 4.

Jokic
Embiid
Giannis
DeRozan are the only credible candidates

I feel gutted for AD! Man can not catch a break! These recurring injuries take a toll on not just your physical health but your mental health and emotions.

Re: The NBA Begins by Android22: 6:56am On Feb 17, 2022
Steph Curry, Steve Kerr, Klay and Wiggins. I don't believe in you guys anymore. Even without Draymond, you can't throw away a 16 pt lead at home and lose to a buzzer by overhelping when you have a 2 point lead. This hurts as bad as the Knicks game. I am too young to be doing this to my heart. I will revisit during the playoffs. Signing out of basketball till then.

Good thing all star break is coming up. Looks like your celtics are tired of winning. Kinda expected after that spectacular victory over the 76ers. That was an emotional high

How long will the warriors continue until they accept klay should be coming off the bench. Jordan poole is second most reliable scorer and shot creator on this team

The warriors overperformed at the beginning of the season and they have regressed back to the mean. Their ceiling at the moment appears to be conference finals.

I am worried in particular about steph he's been so poor lately, I suspect he's hiding an injury or he has some personal troubles. I also think Steve Kerr has not handled the return of klay properly, throwing an emerging Jordan Poole to the bench to placate the ego of klay was nonsense.
Poole offers the option of a secondary ball handler who can aso create his shot. He takes so much pressure off steph.

Lastly, not trading for a big man is ridiculous.
Wiseman ain't contributing shit until another yr or two.
Same with moody. Moody, bellijicia and a second round pick is enough to land a solid big man like myles turner.

But I no like Westbrook or even LeBron ( although I recognize his greatness)

I refuse to be a colourist/racist. Sometimes I like curry cheesy
Re: The NBA Begins by Tellwhat: 9:32am On Feb 17, 2022
Brooklyn nets might just shock people this season.. they're well rounded and this addition of Drummond and Seth will help them a lot. Drummond hit about 19 rebounds against Knicks

All that remains is for Kyrie to be fully available home and away and then for Durant not to be injured. Them fit come from behind shock people. Especially as only healthy Durant nearly wound bucks last season

Curry was already struggling before Klay returned. It is better for warriors to struggle now and integrate Klay into the rotation. That is the only way they beat the Suns. The way some guys on here talk about Wiseman, you will think hes the best big man in the league.

The warriors fully fit can just about beat every single team they have played this season in a 7 game series. Some will be tougher than others of course. They did not return to the mean, they have just lost their defensive glue which also happened to be their best creator. And it has coincided with trying to help Klay get back into his rhythm.

Steve Kerr's issue has always been being too intelligent for his own self. How he sees things is from a long term perspective- it will favor the team for Klay to be back to his best. But short term it has distorted Wiggins and Poole who were having great seasons with the former even making an Allstar team for the first time in his professional career.

What I do find incredibly stupid is the stubbornness not to get a center. We could have even tried to acquire Serge Ibaka. The front office believe so much in Wiseman which is fine but Wiseman and Loon as our only centers is next level asinine.

The next issue is in game management. Steve Kerr took Curry out when he was burning hot against the clips when we led 52-44 and we lost the lead and never recovered. He sees Klay shooting us out of games and does not bridle his excesses. Klay did same again yesterday. Then we are up 2 with few seconds to go and let the opposing team shoot a 3. Like who does that? Gary Payton 11 was having a defensive game for the ages but he did not play the last 5 mins of yesterday when we blew away our 8 points lead. It has been a shit show in the last 5 games 4 of which were very winnable.

I know that with Wiseman and Klay (Draymond) back to who they can be, then we can win it all. But that is just leaving everything to chance. Teams just eat us in the paint because our defense has become porous.

The season has more stories to tell but I don comot my heart jare.

Thank God for tonites matchup. 2 superstars that actually show up and ball. No drama, no quitting on the team. They put in max contract effort every night, with no sense of entitlement.

Two brothers with African roots dominating the league, I can't be any prouder.
