It's a complex matter buddy, if the state did its job properly of vetting illegal immigrants and checking police and home affairs corruption these tensions would be at a minimum.

I'm not gonna lie, a lot of illegal immigrants commit serious crimes in SA and push out unskilled SA people out the job market coz they are willing to accept slave wages and the exchange rate favours them in terms of sending remittances back home, but the government is also to blame for not running an efficient system.
