Most of these Tinubu followers don't act like him. Political issues are meant to be settled behind closed doors and if a resolution cannot be reached, the parties involved will do things separately without badmouthing the other.

Throughout the saga of Ambode being denied second term ticket, not once did Tinubu speak ill about him. The work was done underground. Aregbe made a mess of himself by acting like the alpha and omega only to lose his ward to a political rookie. Such an embarrassment!

Whichever way, APC members bored for Andy Uba on the primary election and her had over 200k votes. Why couldn't he poll same number or half that figure during the main election? Is it that those who voted him during the primary were absent during the general election.

Several incumbent Governors have been defeated in the past, both in primaries and general elections.

The most important thing is to have the people beside you.

In 2003, Bashir Dalhatu defeated incumbent Gov Saminu Turaki for the ANPP Guber ticket for Jigawa. The National Executive Council of the party however overruled and returned the ticket to Turaki.
Bashir Dalhatu went to court to seek redress and the courts ruled that the parties have final say on whoever they choose to represent them in the election.


In the same year, Gov Chinwoke Mbadinuju was even prevented by the PDP for participating in the party's primaries for the Anambra 2003 gubernatorial election and the ANPP replaced Gov Mala Kachalla of Borno State with Sen Alli Modu Sheriff who later won the election.

The over 50, 000 votes scored by Sheu in the 2018 election when he decamped to the ADC and splitted APC would have given the party outright victory over the PDP without the need for a re-run.

However, in this election Gov Oyetola is likely to defeat the PDP.

why do you think Tinubu has implicating secretes? Only lazy, frustrated and limited people think like this. Tinubu is the most secretely investigated politician in Nigeria and absolutely nothing could be found against him. He treats everybody equally, aregbesola was just always being carried away thinking he was the closest to him, aregbesola doesn't have such secrets or information that can ever be used against Tinubu, because non exists

Well, Hmmn. This indirect primary is not a reflection of the true elections. If he got 222k votes in the primary, it means those votes are a guarantee for the main election but dont be surprised when he eventually wins the main elections, he may have only 100k votes. It then means that either they are padding the results of the indirect primaries, or that some of the APC delegates who are voting in the primaries do not have valid voters card to vote in the main election.
Same thing happened to Andy Uba in Anabmbra, he polled over 220k votes in primaries, election day he couldn't get even 1/5th of that.

Stop dabbling into Osun Politics without knowing the issues on ground.

Check the results of the 2018 elections and add the total votes cast.
