Its a lot more than you think. You really have to love the person because living with one demands a lot of selflessness. Can he handle her crisis, can he give her the care she needs when she falls ill, can he afford her medications, He has to like home chores as well and the inevitable can happen at any time depending on the severity. Some sicklers are not designed to live so long especially when they begin to require multiple surgeries.

All this is if he is AA. He should really sit and think about it.

I read through and see how ignorant and misinformed alot of people are and how they opening mouth waaa to talk rubbish. Stop stigmatising people with sickle cell. Alot of them even outlive you people. Is she not a human being and entitled to love too?Anyone can die any minute sickler or NOT.

I dated a sickler before and I loved her with all of my heart. She relocated abroad and thats how things ended between us..she got married 2years ago tho and has 2kids now. Iam happy she is happy and doing ok with better health care there. Protégee of the famous mobb deep was a sickler and he outlived Tupac who made jest of him..protegee died a few years back but he lived a long good life so all of u people with ur fuccked up mindset about sicklers need to update and stop acting like people in the 60s..Most of these sicklers are way better human beings than u people.
