OP, first and foremost this your English get as e be but I guess you are still typing out of annoyance. Now let me tell you this, most white guys are innately racist against the black skin, they were not born this way but they did grow up so no thanks to the propaganda being spread to them by their parents, peers and media. They don't like you no matter how friendly they try to behave towards you...just know this and know peace! I too studied for my Masters degree in Scotland and their racism always shows when they are drunk, if you want to know the truth hidden in the heart of a man then give him strong drink and you would be surprised at what he spues out! As for Harry, you would have to forgive him as it's not totally his fault 'cos a leopard would always find it hard to change it's skin but you can always learn to dine with him with a long spoon i.e. always watch your back when you're with him. British people especially have a way of laughing with you while mocking you behind your back. To keep fighting with him would only make you miss out on opportunities where he could be of help since you are living in his country. Take heart dear, your dreams are valid and don't let any white trash make you think lesser of yourself. |

Right001:Please when writing something for public consumption, please write in good English. Couldn’t follow your write up. So much grammatical errors and you did your masters abroad. Take time, be clear, creative and concise. Not insulting you, just feedback. |

OP, did you deliberately choose to murder the English language just to spite your racist Brit housemate or this is your usual way of writing? Master's in the UK is now pure water... |

lol..na today! Mine happened at my working place, they will smile at you and stab you from behind. Some of them feel intimidated by us and I guess we human beings are wired like that. I later left the place for them and as God may have it, I finally got a better place. Moral of the lesson, don't assume they love u because of their smiles, don't tell them your secret that will count against you especially we guys with their young ladies. I used to think otherwise when I was in naija! but most in London are friendly and accommodating unlike North here |

babadee1:Bad advice, doing that will only limit his opportunities. Even his fellow Nigerians can set him up. He should communicate with everyone: Nigerians, Blacks, Asians and Whites too. However, he should not be too trusting. |

Don't get me wrong, I'm not in any way defending his actions, but what you experienced at the hands of the white guy is nothing compared to the kind of tribal hatred and hateful comments by some Nigerians here in Nairaland. You need to read some comments in the threads to understand the point that I'm trying to make. We feel it's okay to hate on one another and abuse ourselves based on ethnicity. But when the whites do the same to us, we cry and start to protest. |

MrBrownJay1:Dont mind the poster he is inexperience! What happened in the kitchen and the parlour wasn’t really bad because There is no way a white guy won’t attack your race or continent during fracas since it’s all about Making your opponent sad Beside,if you are not ready to face racism abroad don’t mix with white,I am even sure there is no way you wont face racism, just that you will have to prepare your mind before it finally happen Living or going to school abroad is not for a fainted heart even if your father is wealthy abroad And the truth is, you will even face racism from your fellow black friends before the whites |

Pele. You can't blame them too much. Like you said, bad and negative propaganda and bad PR given to Africa by the news and even our kleptomaniac leaders who portray us as a bunch of destitute savages just to continue milking their charity and kindheartedness. This is the impression that sticks and is why those of you that make it out have to be better ambassadors. Cheers. |
