I went to the nearby station to lodge a complain but I was told the man had come earlier, and told the police has giving me quit notice that he wants to renovate his house.

It's really a hard time for me and my siblings, getting a quick accomodation. He never informed us of renovating the apartment, I just lost my job last week and this is happening to me again.

My life is in a mess right now as I don't know where to start from, this is just a challenge for me and I will stay stronger and fight this battle till the end, probably God is preparing me for a better place ahead....

Do you intend to pay his rent (you said you lost your job)? If so, how will you pay him?
Why did he give you a quit notice?
Had the quit notice date expired?
When did you pay rent? Can you show the receipt?

Call him out on facebook if police is no helping. I am sure you will find people to fight for you and offer help.

He gave you quit notice 3 months ahead of the expiry of your rent abi, that means he has followed due process. But you want to use jungle pattern for him. Ehn na bear the consequence of the jungle life style

she got the eviction notice from bailiff she have 48 hour to be out or her things will be out
The judgment was for 2427 add January and February 2200 add late fee 200
So this craze lady have being doing stuff to the house
Government have paid over 12,000.00 for this fool
Now I got a call from Government telling me they will only pay 3 months
If she will be moved out tomorrow
I was very nice I gave February 28 all stuff must be out
She want her security deposit of 1,500.00
Her security deposit will pay for February and water bill of about 230
Tenants think landlord are fool "two can play the game "
Told her if I don't get paid I will garnish her pay- she work government job
The fool will have the judgement on her credit report

Please look for a place, church or Mosque to stay for now. Do not go and start and case with your Landlord. Allow God to fight for you. I can understand what you are passing through but remain strong.

Stop fighting with your landlord they won't listen. Landlords are mini god so don't mess up yourself if you don't have solid plan.

Your landlord is about to make you a rich man. Get a lawyer fast and sue the landlord and claim damages worth N10m citing the tenancy laws of Nigeria. He has no right to remove the roof even if you owe him for ten years.

That is human for you. Once he noticed you are down, he does everything possible to crush you totally. Be strong, learn from him never to treat anyone like that when you make it because I am sure that this experience will propel you to a greater height.

There is no due process about removing a roof. The landlord should have gone the way of the courts to get a judgment. Everything after the expiration of a quit notice is by the action of the courts and the bailiffs who will enforce any judgments.

The landlord has entered gbese if the tenant knows what to do.
