Could mean two things--
Early pregnancy if she did the test immediately after she missed her period or invalid result.
She should re_do the test after 1 week. by then, if she is truly preggy, the lines will be clearer.

If two coloured lines appear on the test strip, you are pregnant. One line may appear lighter than the other, but they will both be the same thickness. A faint line is more likely to occur when you are testing early and your hCG levels are low.

That's a negative result. She's not pregnant. Faint lines are common in many women who are not pregnant, because women naturally have low levels of beta-hcg which becomes higher in pregnancy. If she's pregnant you'll get two very clear lines. Let her repeat the test in 1-2wks

If two coloured lines appear, the test is positive, which means she is pregnant. Even if the lines are light in colour, you may assume you are pregnant

If it is showing double line,it is positive.But if it shows only one line,it is negative.
