After the Cuban missile crisis, the US gave some security guarantees that they will not invade or attack Cuba. It doesn't mean that if Cuba is involved in a war tomorrow, the US will go defend them because of security guarantees they gave Cuba.

If a country give security guarantees to another country, it means that the country will not invade or attack the other country getting the security guarantees. If however, what is meant is defending each other in times of war, then a defense treaty is what is signed. E.g The US has a defense treaty with Japan. Meaning if Japan is attacked, the US is bounded by that treaty to come to the defense of Japan and vice versa.

No country (not even Ukraine) is accusing the US of violating that agreement because there is no where it is stated in the agreement that the US or any other countries that are part of the agreement will come to defend Ukraine in case of a war.

My problem with Ukraine is that you know you have a hostile neighbor who may attack you. Yet you fail to develop your military to counter them. Just see how a full blown country fell to it's mate in days with no retaliation.

You couldn't even hit a single target in there territory. Ukraine disgusts me. Patriotism is not enough. Imagine no single SAM defence system thereby allowing your enemy control of your airspace without a single fear of being hit.
