I have seen this play out so many times over the years.

Boreham Wood are in the 5th tier of English football and a lot of the players are part timers, it's more or less non league.

As a consequence, they may be able to defend and put up a fairly decent fight. But once you get to the second half and the last quarter. They just don't have the fitness to compete with a premier League club.

However, when it comes to the Championship it becomes a totally different ball game.

Not surprising, FA cup quarter finals ( last cool you have two championship sides in the last eight, which includes. Liverpool, Manchester city, Chelsea followed by Southampton and Crystal palace.

Tottenham, Leicester, Arsenal, Manchester United got knocked out by Championship sides.

There is no in other second tier in Europe that will have that level of quality to compete with first tier league.
This however, is not unique to england. Its everyyyyyyywhere. Squad depth is why i consider it a norm in football. Not cos its England.

Besides barely do all the epl teams use their team A. Its more or less a training for the team B. Almost. Though upsets do happen.

What about Musa and nwakaeme? 2 players in the same league look at their stats? Once you start compromising results for familiarity, you don’t want to win

Ebuehi is injured

Awoniyi and Onuachu are big misses but don't think they are ahead of KC, Victor and Ighalo. Maybe one of them could have replaced Sadiq but it's the coaches choice I guess.

List is very good in my opinion (except for Shehu & Onazi)

Fair list in my opinion. Just a few questionable inclusions, the usual suspects Shehu and Musa, especially Shehu. Also I don't think Etebo should be invited, he just came out of a long term injury and he hasn't even been listed on his struggling team's bench.

Musa's case is special as we all know but you are definitely right, Nwakaeme deserves a look in based solely on performance.

Onazi is on standby so doesn't really matter. But I think after the afcon that Sadiq has done better for his club than Awo.

well...what do I say? Our desires are insatiable. I'd have preferred Awaziem in place of Shehu, Onyedika or Bonke in place of Onazi.
The inclusion of Umar, Calvin and Amoo are all welcomed.
Good list though....
