It may be a case of SID (SUDDEN INFANT DEATH)
Or maybe the child was forced fed on he choked
I lost my son (6 mths) in similar circumstances 5yrs ago
We later learnt that the nanny in my late son's school was force feeding him
An autopsy revealed stuck food particles in his windpipe

Let them take heart, God will console them
This is so sad.
I hope you're better now ma'am

Madam you can’t deny the obvious fact that the lady was negligent.

I'm a man, OK?
And if you're married with kids, then you will understand better. This can happen to anyone at any time, our prayers are nothing bad should befall everyone of us.
Let’s go back in time to our mothers days, some have no work than to take care of the kids but the bad or worse still happen to them. No matter how smart human are some things will happen that is beyond our control.

No one calls a 3 month old nursing mother lazy, enough with that lame excuse abeg.

Since she is working , please advise us on what best you think she should do?

Madam all you’ve written up there doesn’t change the fact that the woman was negligent.
Such a thing could have been averted if the woman didn’t put her career above her child’s life.

Madam don’t you think ? 3 months old baby in a crèche and she was so comfortable going about with her business.

Stay at home mums are lazy and a liability honestly.

Men that cannot fully support their wives with housework and childcare are also lazy and a liability.

I tell you a short story of an aunty of mine. She was a banker with one of the leading banks in Nigeria before she got married. She waited 3 years after her wedding saving up enough with her husband before she got pregnant. She tendered her resignation 6 months into her pregnancy because she knows her job only allows 2 months leave and started baking cakes at her home. A year plus after her delivery she got a better job with the recommendation from her previous manager and she's currently doing okay with her cake business on the side and she has several people working for her.

We women need to understand that our lives are different from men and there are times we would need to take a break and make necessary sacrifices for our families if we intend to have one. Having a good husband and adequate planning for children will save one from running back to work barely months after child bearing. Some women are not even properly healed by that time. People just jump into marriage and marriage this days with no plan or back up and even spend a huge fortune on the wedding only to end up struggling like this.

A nursing mother has three months maternity leave. She didn't leave her baby by choice but circumstances warranted that. My son started creche at three months plus too cos I needed to resume at the office.

A fulltime housewife has no business with creche except she deems otherwise but as a workingclass mother, you have no choice htan to use creche except a family member is helping out.

However, the cause of death should be looked into and I hope it isn;t due to negligence on the part of the care-givers!
Codebite:
Why are people in so much hurry to get back to work after giving birth, so three months old now have access to creche? Wow I never knew

Sorry mama, it's quite painful, I can't begin to imagine her pain and the numerous what ifs going through her mind right now.

You give a good example of your aunty and luckily for her she later got good job opportunity, please can you tell me percentage of employees that can save up three years easily cos of motherhood?
And using her as case study, you can see that her husband have the same plan with her. Not every man out there will sit up to consider the wife stress and need after giving birth, moreover what works for A might not work for B. I won't advice anyone in this country to resign from their job, cos we all have different type of responsibilities and partner in relationships.
MAY BAD DEALS NEVER BE FALL US, so that we won't be use for bad case study

That's why one should get married to a responsible man not a boy. If you as a man cannot single handedly cater for your family for at least a year, then you really have no business getting married. Some bad deals are avoidable, to be honest.

Now to the matter at hand, the wife could have gotten someone to stay with her kid at home and paid the person monthly stipend.

And there aren't any dangers in that abi?

The maximum maternity leave employers give is 3months
Re: Nursing Mother Loses Her 3-Month-Old Baby At A Crèche by Stellaify1: 3:36pm On Mar 07, 2022
Those of you faulting the mother
Do you think she intentionally left her baby in crèche to go and relax at home?
How come nobody is blaming employers who give maximum 3months maternity leave(and that is a considerate one o)
Don't fault the man too,for those asking y he can't shoulder the financial responsibility alone so the woman can stay at home that's bs
Lastly for those saying she should resign and look for another work later.for how long, bcus if you want 3-4children for example with good spacing meaning the woman would stay at home close to ten years
So in all when sympathising we should try and do so without casting blames bcus we are not the ones putting on the shoe

Obviously you are a madam because no man would write the nonsense you wrote up there.

If she was my wife I would send her packing immediately.

A Nigerian mum lost her three-month-old baby after leaving the child at a crèche, IGBERETV reports.

Twitter user @Lolo_cy who shared the sad story online said no one knows what happened to the baby only that the mother came back to pick her baby's dead body.

She wrote;

https://twitter.com/Lolo_cy/status/1500387723064057857?t=rpOIKoXPwMkvP7UhpEqb5Q&s=19

This is most likely caused by SIDS (Sudden infant death syndrome)

It is associated with placing infants wrongly on baby cotts.

So sad..

Likely SUID.

Baby probably slept on its stomach , face down and blocked it's breathing path.

Very heartbreaking

You don’t have to be one because you are a woman and from your write up I can deduce you are senile.
which shows you don’t even know if you’re a man or a woman.
