A40:James Harden will surpass Reggie Miller for the most 3 points in NBA history, I better not remind these people, including the ones that have openly bashed him to praise him. If I look for @Birdman’s congratulatory message na that time me and am go enter the same “sokoto”.

A40:So being better shooters is not a skill improvement? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 9:47pm On Mar 08, 2022 |
A40:So getting dropped and getting back up, is now a negative? He fought for the championship after 2 years out, where he had to not only deal with addiction but also weight issues |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 9:54pm On Mar 08, 2022 |
joshboo:Joker won the MVP because he added an aspect to his game that centers before him were not judged on i.e passing and actually running an offense, which includes the ability to shoot from anywhere. Giannis won the chip because he became an okay shooter from 3, which ensured that teams could no longer just sag off him. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:06pm On Mar 08, 2022 |
Khanben:But we don't even know they're better cause that generation did not attempt 3s at all. It was not a factor of their game. That's like saying Phillip Rivers and Ben Roethlisberger are better passers than Joe Montana just because they passed for more yards per game. Had more TDs, And had better completion percentages. That would be asinine |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:12pm On Mar 08, 2022 |
Khanben:Who said it's a negative or positive. I'm merely showing you that if a bang average boxer with no tekkers can drop Fury then it's laughable to claim more capable and mobile boxers like Ali, Frazier, Foreman wouldn't drop him at a higher clip |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:15pm On Mar 08, 2022 |
Khanben:Guy dey cap small small abeg nau Giannis shot 12% from 3 against the Hawks and 20% from 3 in the Finals |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 11:34pm On Mar 08, 2022 |
A40:But did they sag against him. NO |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 11:36pm On Mar 08, 2022 |
A40:If he can survive getting dropped by arguably the best puncher in history. I say he survives foreman, Frazier and Ali punches and wins all those fights because he is bigger, stronger and a better boxer than all of them. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 11:55pm On Mar 08, 2022 |
Russell Wilson got some balls on him if he accepts that trade. Sheezzee, that division is gonna be a bloodbath |

For the sake of his family who is now getting involved in every spat, he needs to take the high road and leave LA! It is not worth trying to prove anything or anyone wrong at this point. Fans will be fans, it’s never going to change! Telling the world you are going to start taking issues with fans who address you as Westbrick has just weaponized the fans, especially away fans to heckle your name to stupor and that would lead to more distractions and frustration. Let me also add this. Westbrook’s team mates in LA from the top to the button have failed him in showing strong support for the man. Granted he should shoulder the responsibility of his situation but the last time I checked it is a team game and his team mates have just about abandoned him. |

joshboo:It's easy for you people to say an oldie would mop the floor with a new generation guy, but when we return the favour you think we're bluffing. What is your proof that Ali would beat Fury? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:47am On Mar 09, 2022 |
joshboo:Pick your struggle. You people said it's 3s that this era is known for. So how did Giannis and Joker win MVP? By shooting 3s? Embiid would probably win MVP this year and it won't be because of 3s. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:58am On Mar 09, 2022 |
Lol. People shitting of Fury in this thread make me laugh. How many boxers of old were actually technically gifted. They were mostly hard hitters with poor fundamentals and a decent tank. Frasier, Foreman, Tyson, Lewis, name them. In the old days where we only cared about watching heavyweights because every other weight class offered little. Today you can bet there's at least 4-5 top dawgs in every weight class. Abeg ×3 make we hear word. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:06am On Mar 09, 2022 |
It's the same people bashing this era that will still open mouth and say Steph Curry is a top 3 point guard of all time. Some of them even swear he has surpassed Magic and Isaiah. You can't eat your cake and have it o. What works for the goose works for the gander also. |

Khanben:It's obvious you are trolling biko, Giannis won a chip cos he became an okay shooter from 3? , my guy Sabinus got nothing on you believe me, you really got jokes. |

Khanben:Dude nobody was outchea guarding Giannis at the 3 point line. Stop capping. He was taking like 2 3's per game |

joshboo:My guy is outchea lying his ass off Giannis vs the Suns - 20% from 3 Giannis vs the Hawks - 12% from 3 ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 7:23pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
Roland17:You can only support a man to the extent he is willing to support himself. When they asked him what his expectations were coming to LA, he could have helped himself with a better answer. If Westbrook will not help himself, why are we asking others to help him? Bros, na so life be - if you decide that you have strong head, your wiser friends and team mates allow you. You cant save a struggling man in water, both of you will drown. WB needs to man up, get his wife, mom etc out of the media spotlight and face this alone. Curry had the same issue with Ayesha getting into the spotlight: it never ends the way you want it to end. And I dont understand why he is whining. Either you can play or you cant. Either you will play the way coach wants you to, or you wont. These are man decisions, and I dont think anyone, including teammates should be sorting this out for him. Is he sharing his salary with them? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:37pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
This fugazi analyst don come again. What we are saying is the only thing this era is better at is volume 3pt shooting. That Embiid or Jokic are competing for MVP and Giannis has won multiple MVPs as well does not disprove the argument infact it further goes to show that the greats of old would have also found ways to dominate in this era. Btw who has Steph over Magic? Are they drunk? And if anyone says Steph is a top 3 all time PG he at least has the rings and regular season MVPs to make the argument Tyson, Lewis, Foreman poor fundamentals? mr fugazi don come again oh. You never sabi basketball finish you wan enter boxing. Stay your lane oh abeg.E sure me you cannot name 2 boxers outside Canelo in all the other weight classes. You can't name their best fights or who they fought. I'm sure this mugu does not know Roy Jones Jr, doesn't know Joe Calzaghe or the 4 Horsemen in the 80's. Man's really said how many boxers of old were technically gifted |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:51pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
Khanben:Anyone that knows anything about boxing knows Earnie Shavers is the best puncher in heavyweight history Secondly fighting is not all about size Mr Man. One rightly placed blow to your temple and down you go. It don't matter if you're 3ft or 8'1. And claiming Fury is a better boxer than Ali and Foreman is a bad joke, the same Fury that almost lost to Otto freaking Wallin?? I am telling you again that if he could be dropped by an agricultural boxer like Deontay Wilder, Foreman and Ali would drop him several times and he would lose too many rounds to win the fight. These were guys that could go 15 rounds so cardio is not an issue. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:54pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
birdman:Westbrick should be ashamed of himself trying to use his family as a shield for his rubbish play. Nobody is attacking his family tree so he needs to shut up with that. He is playing like dirt and not once has he admitted the need to do better. I hope the boos are louder every time he plays like crap. Let's see if he will fight everyone in the gym |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 8:11pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
A40:He was also shoot less that 40% from FT, in some of those series and still won. The fact he was willing to take them as opposed to previous seasons where he would still just motor into blockages and get stopped made defenses go out to contest him. There is a reason why people rail on Ben Simmons, it's not because he is missing shots, but because he refuses to take them |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 8:30pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
A40:The fact that you keep mentioning Foreman shows you are one of this new age boxing fans who thinks it's all about throwing punches (I bet you are in the camp of Mayweather is boring). Foreman in his early years was basically Wilder, he was a Bomber, which is a one trick pony and that trick was he could hit like a horse. And using only that trick he was the undisputed champion, and beat Frazier senseless. Boxing FYI is a science, which in it's purest form and mastery is not just about who is throwing the most punches,it is to hit while not getting hit. Foreman in his early days is in no way a poster boy of technical boxing, so please Fury will destroy him and Frazier. As for Ali Fury is bigger than him as fast as him as is the better technical boxer. Ali always had issue with technical boxers from Frazier to Norton and co. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 8:38pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
Khanben:Fury Is Technical than Ali and faster than Ali? The same Ali that threw 12 punches in 2.8 seconds or the same Ali that dodged 21 punches in 10 seconds? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:20pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
Khanben:Oga stop telling nonsense lies over and over again. Giannis was taking just 2 3's per game from the Nets series up to the Finals and in 2 of the 3 series he was averaging 12% Giannis was never a threat from the 3. And was not attempting enough for teams to try and stop him. Stop repeating this rubbish lie. Nobody would be foolish enough to chase Giannis away from the 3pt line. He was a mediocre 3pt shooter last season and is still a mediocre 3pt shooter He also never shot less than 48% from the free throw line. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:46pm On Mar 09, 2022 |
Khanben:You're clearly a JJC boxing fan. A complete novice, Confusing knockout power for lack of tekkers. If Foreman had no technique how was he able to retire then come back over a decade later and become a World champion at 45. Foreman was an Olympic gold medalist and golden gloves winner. He actually had a proper amateur boxing background. Don't ever compare him to Wilder. You would look silly in the eyes of informed people With all due respect there is absolutely nothing you can tell or teach me about boxing Fury is great but fortunate to fight in arguably the weakest era in boxing history. His best opponent is agricultural boxers like Wilder (40 pounds lighter) who was still able to drop him 4 times, he was also bruised and bloodied by Otto freakin Wallin, just look at his record it's filled with the who is who of tomato cans. Think of what a more skilled and equally if not more powerful Foreman would have done Norton was not that technical. If he was then he wouldn't get smoked so easily by Foreman. |

donlittle25:In his eyes once someone is bigger it automatically means they are better. Someone like him would never have drafted Aaron Donald, Steph Curry or Russell Wilson. You must be big like elephant and ogologo like palm tree before you make his team |
