Regardless of gender, it is seen as a huge risk to date anyone who loves gambling/placing bets, no matter there reason or excuse. Now, if you had said something along the lines of stocks gambling or other professional gambling, that would be totally acceptable since we are coded to believe those as safer gambling options.
