You're clearly a JJC boxing fan. A complete novice, Confusing knockout power for lack of tekkers. If Foreman had no technique how was he able to retire then come back over a decade later and become a World champion at 45.

Foreman was an Olympic gold medalist and golden gloves winner. He actually had a proper amateur boxing background. Don't ever compare him to Wilder. You would look silly in the eyes of informed people

With all due respect there is absolutely nothing you can tell or teach me about boxing

Fury is great but fortunate to fight in arguably the weakest era in boxing history. His best opponent is agricultural boxers like Wilder (40 pounds lighter) who was still able to drop him 4 times, he was also bruised and bloodied by Otto freakin Wallin, just look at his record it's filled with the who is who of tomato cans. Think of what a more skilled and equally if not more powerful Foreman would have done

Norton was not that technical. If he was then he wouldn't get smoked so easily by Foreman.
You have no idea of boxing my man. Foreman totally changed his fighting style for his comeback and do you know who he borrowed his defence from? The same Ken Norton you just said is not a technical boxer.
Norton just like Frazier got smoked because Foreman had a hammer for fist, if it lands especially early there is no technical know how to save you.
If you are sure of your Foreman stance bring up any boxing analysis that calls his first stint as a boxer as technical, any boxing historian will tell you he was someone who always got bailed out by his power. So please stop this talk of Foreman being technical.

You're chatting nonsense. Foreman's issue was never his lack of technique, his weaknesses were more mental and an occasionally dodgy cardio. George Foreman had a hellish jab and could actually box unlike Wilder. But JJC fans will use rumble in the jungle to assume Foreman was deficient

He was slower and more methodical on his return, mysteriously became a cardio warrior that could go all 12 rounds without gassing at 48! had nothing to do with any nonsense Ken Norton defense. Defense that could not keep him upright for 6 minutes against Foreman

You don't lack technique and suddenly recover it after more than 10 years of retirement. That's ridiculous.

Foreman was not bailed out by his power. He had power and could box!!!

Fury Is Technical than Ali and faster than Ali? The same Ali that threw 12 punches in 2.8 seconds or the same Ali that dodged 21 punches in 10 seconds?
As in same fury that's been fighting journeymen, Almost lost to otto wallin... like look at furys resume for bleeps sake, His toughest opponents were a washed up klitchko and Wilder, imagine the kind heavyweights wey dey nowadays..

Oga stop telling nonsense lies over and over again. Giannis was taking just 2 3's per game from the Nets series up to the Finals and in 2 of the 3 series he was averaging 12%

Giannis was never a threat from the 3. And was not attempting enough for teams to try and stop him. Stop repeating this rubbish lie. Nobody would be foolish enough to chase Giannis away from the 3pt line. He was a mediocre 3pt shooter last season and is still a mediocre 3pt shooter

He also never shot less than 48% from the free throw line.
Him dey obviously cap on purpose jare, Him still go dey bring Ben simmons into the equation, can't take such a one serious.

No, you actually have no idea about boxing cos if you did you won't spew so much cap honestly.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:25am On Mar 10, 2022
E sure me if them ask this bobo now he would say Tyson was not technical. In his novice eyes being a KO artist means you no get technique. He will lump an agricultural boxer like Wilder in the same category with Tyson and Foreman grin

lmao. and congrats on keeping Rodgers! It would have been weird to see him in any other helmet.
Initially I had given up about him staying but over the last 2-3 weeks, with some coaching moves especially at the QB position, I knew something was up.

I no go lie, the GOAT too like shakara and drama, ahn! ahn!! But I believe he wanted to stay in control of the narrative.

Well, now that he has gotten paid and other wishes, he better get us another ring because there are no more excuses left!

We had an excellent 2nd half, especially in the 4th. I love how we have played the 2nd half of games since this resurgence started.

Lakers what the hell? How do you lose to the Rockets missing two of their starters?? Is this team even real?

It's a shame the Spurs, Portland, Kings and Pelicans are shamelessly tanking. The West has been a crying disgrace this year

He has been impressive this season

Also most elite Pg haven't been very active this season or atleast as of now a lot of them are missing in action especially due to injury..
If Chris Paul and Ben Simmons were active they will most likely have better rating

Still impressive from Luka. The boy is now at the top of his game and should do better from next season and possibly take over.. soon it will be their time. Luka, Tatum, Trae, Booker, Morant etc

Who do you think is the best young player in the leaguehuh
Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 5:43pm On Mar 10, 2022
When we tell una to farabale learn maths una no go hear word. cheesy grin. Na to do gragra. Your first example, Tatum/Bird is fine. But you have capped the total number of shots here, which is 20(assuming they both make them all). But no boundary condition has not been considered for the 0.7/2.2, so saying it's less than 2 more points is not necessarily correct. We need additional information, as in the total number of shots made. Stats man, go dig for more stats.
steady986:
Oga that's not how this maths works. One person is shooting 2s while the other is shooting 3s. Don't make it as if one is shooting 3s while the other is shooting neither 2s nor 3s. I saw one rubbish math someone put up here just to mislead people. If both Tatum and Bird shoot 20 shots per game (and assuming they make all), but Tatum shoots 8 threes and Bird shoots only 3, that accounts for 5 more points than Bird.
(2×17) + (3×3)= 34+9 = 43 for Bird
(2×12) + (3×8 )= 24+24 = 48 for Tatum

And for your info, Bird averaged 0.7 made threes per game for his career. Tatum is averaging 2.2. That accounts for less than 2 more points. Tatum's record for most 3s in a game is 9. Bird is 7, twice. And who knows whether he had his 50+ points in either of those games. So I really don't see the fuss about 3 point shooting.

Ah, silence is not equal to agreement. Hold on, are you trying to say that take was actually correct? I am actually now interested in knowing if you even understand the error in that take. When a more experienced person points out an error in a supposed fact, accept and move on. cheesy grin

I hope he goes back to read my question again and again, with hopes that for once in his life he stops jumping the gun to expose his senility and learn some reading/ comprehension skills.
