This is wrong.

Hate your Leaders all you want, but don't insult your fighting officers.

They are paying for your safety with their lives.

You are very right, bro.

I hail my fighting officers.

They need to turn on the useless leaders and liberate us all once and for all...

This is stale. Choose another line. The East is the only Region that contribute ZERO to the Economy. Your region rely on the North, West and South South for it's survival. This means, your region is being spoon fed by the North, West and South South Regions.

Your People are the true definition of the saying, "EMPTY VESSELS MAKES THE LOUDEST NOISE". This is the realities of things. grin grin
talking rubbish
..like I said...we wouldn't be walking the same ground if not for quotas. Just like you equated success, to federal govt exclusive list ie land resources (and please don't fool yourselves by attaching the north there), you failed to realize that the greatest most viable resource is human resources. That's why nations like Britain with very few land resources dominated the world for centuries. Speaking of resources, the so called eastern region ( which was balkanized by you ilks) has vast resources to include oil/ GAS ..GAS....GAS., arid lands. Even with the balkanization of the east fraudulently by fg, to make it look like we have no resources...its still impossible to do that. Asides ebonyi, the rest are loaded with resources. The only people that have created wealth without govt backing..... We are COMMERCE in nigeria. Without us...Nigeria would probably be like a Gambia etc

Are you forgetting the Egyptian military survive by aid..
The military controls alot of the Egyptian economy
Maybe not.

But we can do much better than what we are doing now.

Nigeria should be able to dedicate atleast $2billion every year just for the procurement of weapons alone for the airforce,Navy and army.

No salaries or overhead. Just pure weaponry and upgrades.

The reason why bokoharam is starting to fade is because Nigeria is beginning to acquire highly precise air frames.

Bokoharam has no answer for it.

Death delivered from the sky at lightening speed.
They don't even hear it coming before they are evaporated in fire.

And that is why many of them are surrendering now.

Nigeria should invest in more modern jets, drones and attack helis.

We also need a strategic detterence against France.
One of these days, we may go to war with Cameroon for the nonsense they are doing in border areas of cross River.

3 batteries of S-400 stationed at Calabar, Lagos and Borno should be enough to make Nigeria's airspace a no go area for enemy airforce.

Everyone knows Nigeria shouldn't be a country, but for oil well. I'm sure you've heard about President Zelensky, he chose not to runaway, he chose to stay and defend his land, and he might even lose his life going forward. You can feel the strong sense of nationhood existing within the minds of Ukrainians. Now back to Nigeria, can you tell me one politician who wouldn't use the nearest available airport to get out of Nigeria, if he feels his life is being threatened? Not even Buhari would stay in Nigeria to fight once he understands that Abuja would be invaded in the next days to come, but same Buhari will send soldiers to go kill Lekki unarmed protesters and ipob protesters, Sunday Ignoho and other people kicking against the unjust system, and the military will carry out his stupid orders. And you wonder why people rejoice when soldiers die? The Nigeria military is the problem of Nigeria. The day you people stop obeying stupid orders from greedy politicians who don't love the country, that's the day Nigeria begins her journey to progress, and that's the day the political class learn to be serious at their jobs.

Shit tf up if you're not in the military to know what happens to you when you disobey a direct orders, you think it's only bout getting locked up?? you know nothing

Bullshit.

The funds are not beyond Nigeria's reach.
How much is $2b that Nigeria cannot get every year for weapons only.
The problem is priority and lack of ambition.

And it's critical to our continued existence as a nation.

Pakistan has a lower GDP than Nigeria.
Check the huge disparity in weaponry.

If we see it as a priority, the money will come out.
S-400 is $500m a piece. India got five units which cost $2.5b.

If Nigeria gets 3 units which is $1.5b, is it too much to spend for the defence of the country airspace?

India saw it as priority to defend their country against China and Pakistan, and they bought the S-400.

China bought it too to protect themselves against India.

Turkey bought it even at the risk of US sanctions to protect themselves.

If Nigeria saw France as a real problem, the money will come out.

The problem is that we are not even seeing what we should be seeing.

Which Air Support? You forgot to mention the incompetence of the quota-system pilots flying these gunships.

Go and check the inventory of the Algerian and Egyptian Air Force and see what serious Countries operate in their Air Force.

May God help all of you to prevent any serious war, external aggression & invasion against Nigeria; the woes of Ukraine will be a child’s play in comparison to what will roast & incinerate all of you.

You’re not even ashamed of yourself.

Mentioning Augusta AW-109 that farmers are using for aerial application of pesticides & fertilizer on their farmlands in Europe.
omo, you have a very valid point. Omo, there are levels to this

It took Buhari to come and do those upgrades.

Let's not bring politics and tribalism into our beloved armed forces. The PDP purchased the F-7ni and MI 24v.
