Both come with different challenges but nursing a baby is more fulfilling. smiley When your baby smiles at you, you forget your fatigue and the fact that you don't even get to eat in peace anymore.

Giving birth is brutal though. embarassed

Mothers, which one do you actually consider more tasking and challenging; Pregnancy or Nursing of babiy, especially immediately after delivery?

I pray that God bless those couples that are waiting on Him for children with their own children and help mothers to nurse their children in Jesus name.

I think pregnancy is more challenging. I've heard countless stories of how pregnant women behave weird as a result of the pregnancy hormones.

My elder brother's wife once said to his husband " Honey, clap for me. Our baby needs noise" grin grin grin.
I was like "what da f***k."

She sometimes prefers to soak ordinary garri to eating a well prepared meal. I will just be like "What is wrong with this woman?"

Pregnant women can be weird.

There is this joy that a woman derives when nursing a baby even though it is kind of stressful. But you see pregnancy, it is more challenging oo!

Pregnancy will make you feel so uncomfortable, you will be falling sick most times and many other pregnancy complications. Abeg.. Pregnancy is challenging.

Some women have easy pregnancy while some don't. But to be quite honest, dealing with postpartum hormones would be the hardest.

Let talk about labor: you're gonna keep Pushing!! Infact you will keep pushing for an hour. It is the most frustrating experience.
Keep pushing for an hour? When I had my 2 children I pushed them out under 5 mins perhaps you mean labour. I mean the labour itself is excruciating no doubt but the pushing doesn't start until the cervix is properly dilated, which shouldn't take hours.

Not a mother, but I will say nursing. Pregnancy stress imho is from 4 months plus.

Nursing stress is from the moment baby is born. 12 to 18 months of a being that demands your attention 24/7

Sperm production is more challenging than these two.

Women don't understand the excruciating pains men go through during sperm production, maybe cos men hardly complain.

does the excruciating pain span for 9months?

What are you saying sef?

Kriss216, what do you know about sperm production? You are becoming an offensive nuisance with this your alternative moniker. In trying to spite women, you sound very stupid. May sense locate you in Jesus name

To the topic, pregnancy comes with a lot of challenges because there are medical issues that are associated with pregnancy. Nursing a child is less challenging because people are always there to help you out

You get sense and you're absolutely right. You spoke my mind because it's a real experience. May the blessings of God be on all of us that are loving and caring parents

Nursing. Pregnancy is a joke compared to nursing.

Colic will first make you cry with frustration. Having a little person depend on you for everything is draining and eye opening.

The sleepless nights is second to none.

Take am easy na....some don't even push for more than 5mins.That doesn't detract from the pain of labour. But God has also given women that special hormone to endure the pain.So when some women come and say do you think it's easy to menstruate, carry pregnancy and birth babies; I find it misplaced.

I prefer nursing baby immediately after birth because it comes with joy of having your child in your arms

No matter the stress of nursing a child after birth, once the child sleeps, you too start sleeping that's the only way you will recover

But being pregnant has some discomfort and unable to eat certain foods and do certain things

If you sleep immediately after the baby slept, how would the home chores be done?

It does for a lot of women. My first and second were out in about two or three pushes. The third took me about 8mins and the fourth more than 15 minutes. I was so frustrated , I felt like the baby would never come out. After my fourth labour, I really feel for women who push for several hours before delivering.

Thank you brother. Its not easy to carry billions of sperms in a sack that get knocked & pressured continuously by strong man thighs. Life as a man is really hard.

If women understand this, they'll let us offload twice daily. grin

Seriously shocked I can't imagine being in labour for hours, then later start pushing for more!!!

I see a pattern here. Mothers believe pregnancy is joke compared to nursing babies but girlfriends think pregnancy is too hard a job which is why they keep aborting innocent children. Ndi uchu. angry

With the baby at my back. I as well do as much as I can do of chores especially during those initial weeks following delivery. After my horrible sleep deprivation experience with my first, I made a policy of sleeping as soon as the baby sleeps and this helps tremendously with sleep deprivation and post partum depression, which to me, is more important than getting all the chores done.

You must be kidding right? Men are really lucky abeg. I just sometimes feel for women. Menstrual pains, pregnancy and delivery, with all the changes that can be very uncomfortable to them and to the nursing of children.....Gees! We should just give it to women please.

Men do not experience any pain in the whole conception or reproduction process at all.

The only pain most might experience is the financial pain grin cheesy grin cheesy

If we were to switch responsibilities, I'm very sure some women wouldn't think twice about it, they will gladly accept the challenge.

It's very subjective. I have 2kids and my first didn't stress my wife at all (pregnancy and nursing) but my second is a lil different. Pregnancy was smooth but nursing has been a lil challenging.

Nah, pregnancy period isn't as tough as nursing.
