Roland17:Harden IMO is not the traditional superstar. He affects the game by scoring, but he is not going to win you games on defense or making others better. And even that level of scoring has been missing last 2 seasons. Which means Sixers gave up too much for him. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:24pm On Mar 11, 2022 |
Are you people surprised with James Harden? How many times will someone tell you who they are before you believe em. Exceptional defense by Kyrie, completely had him in Guantanamo bay This Sixers squad I wonder what will happen to Embiid and Harden when the playoffs roll around and the refs swallow their whistle. Harden 0/10 from three. Hmmm. Where have we seen this before |

birdman:Not rues biggest fan but this is unfair. The same guy hurt Okc chances that year with his nonsense antics when he injured Russ. So all these while, He has been waiting for russ failure? Anyway, na russ cause the see finish. All he has to do his change his style of play and he will be an okay player in the league, but he no want change. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 10:06pm On Mar 11, 2022 |
donlittle25:From the vid? In fact he never said anything negative about Russ. He just thought it was poetic that the same guy who "exposed" him is getting exposed as well. |

birdman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSJqTxwWiBQ Here is a video of the great Magic Johnson calling him Westbrick on National TV. Russ should attack Magic first before he goes for the fans. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by afrodoc2: 2:37am On Mar 12, 2022 |
Roland17:That was a slip, albeit a Freudian one. It is like when that commentator accidentally called Man City's stadium Emptyhad during a game. ![]() But why are you guys expecting Russ to change? He never had any introspection. |

Following his 50-point game, LeBron now leads the league in scoring. 37 years old. Year 19. Enough said.

steady986:Feels like you dey try jab people using statmuse..like it isn't accurate or something Not lebrons biggest fan but his greatness is undeniable. He may very well be the greatest of all time. Imagine if Lakers some how become champions this season.. e no go funny o |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:58am On Mar 12, 2022 |
Tellwhat:Lol This particular stat is indisputable, no stat machine can miss it. But you see stats like defensive rating, they are very subjective. Different stat machines have different criteria for it. So it's best to stick with the stat the NBA website gives you for those. As for LeBron, what more do people want? His own longevity is coming with greatness. Like how does a 37 year old in his 19th season lead the NBA in scoring, shooting over 50% from the field and adding 8 rebounds and 6 assists. By the time LeBron retires, he'll be top ten in points, rebounds and assists. Top 5 in points and assists. As for the Lakers title hopes, na God hand e dey But it all boils down to having a fit and in-form AD. Without that we don't even have a chance. But make we even make the playoffs first ![]() |

Congratulations to G. Popivic for becoming the NBA All time winning coach (regular season) in the history of the game. I think he already had it before yesterday if you combined his regular and post season records but I guess the league wanted separate records. |

afrodoc2:Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.. Magic go don call the guy Westbrick in private when him dey watch TV..lol |
| Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 5:57pm On Mar 12, 2022 |
LeBron has taken almost 200 fewer free throws than Embiid despite taking 100 more shots in the restricted area.

| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 1:15am On Mar 14, 2022 |
The Mavs trade for dinwiddie has been paying dividends since day one. Hope it continues through the playoffs. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 3:22am On Mar 14, 2022 |
Khanben:Indeed. I thought it was hugem because it gives them the scoring punch Porzingis never lived up to. And this guy likes to go to the rack. These playoffs are going to be crazy, t here are lots of middle seeded teams that can pull upsets. Bulls with Caruso and co returning from injury is a dark horse in the east as well. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 3:25am On Mar 14, 2022 |
steady986:you know I dig your stats bro, but I jus dey side eye you with all these posts. Shey you see how Suns dey flog your team tonite like IDP orphan. You guys just shut it down and retool for next year. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 3:26am On Mar 14, 2022 |
Roland17:I missed that, but by big 3 I hope you mean Ray Allen was in attendance. That beef was long overdue to be quashed. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 3:26am On Mar 14, 2022 |
birdman:If teams play to their standard, a lot of the first round series will be dog fights, with very few sweeps |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:26am On Mar 14, 2022 |
Khanben:Sometimes, players need a different space/ environment before things begin to fall in place. His time at Washington was a tough one and I am happy he is doing well because we know he is a scorer. As for the Mavs, it gives them a 3rd ball handler that can create for himself. This Mavs team is shaping up pretty good, especially on defense. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:33am On Mar 14, 2022 |
birdman:Yes. I was happy to see R. Allen/ The Truth and KG at the Garden. All 3 showed some maturity and credit to Ray for accepting the invitation and credit to KG for acknowledging Ray's presence which led to a heartfelt hug on the center court during the celebrations. Celtics nation, especially the current team which is led by 2 young stars needed to see that reconciliation. I hope Ray's number goes up also.. At this point we may not have anymore numbers to assign to players but Ray belongs to the rafters. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:35am On Mar 14, 2022 |
Away from the phony Goat who's using this season to statpad playing zero defense and enduring another beatdown as we speak Let's focus on the big news. Close your eyes @Roland17 hide your wives and hide your kids, the actual GOAT is bizzack to the Bucs.

| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:40am On Mar 14, 2022 |
The thing that intrigues me most about the Mavs is their defense, maybe it's the Jason Kidd effect but they are a very good team defensively. They also match up well against the Grizzlies and even Warriors. If they can just avoid Phoenix Lol at AD chatting noise. You got a lot of nerve talking like Chris Paul didn't play a combined 49 minutes in the first two losses and suffered a bad shoulder all series. Dude is sweet |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:46am On Mar 14, 2022 |
A40:I was waiting for you to announce it yourself before the end of today. I hope he is coming with new tap dancing shoes because he will need more than a pair to survive. I remember when he announced his retirement, I expressed displeasure at how the media controlled the narrative and I was convinced Brady tried to hard to regain control until he gave in.. So, in so many ways, this doesn't surprise me at all. As for Ajala, we know wetin him dey do at this point, everybody sabi say na shameful stat padding him dey do. ![]() |
