There is high chances that if you do your application yourself and you get your PPR, you will say it here immediately, but if you use an agent, the chances will be low. My opinion for that reason.

I get you perfectly well. I know for sur it could be one or two days late not one week or more. Even those who were assisted by agent always put it in their timeline for a broader understanding.

But sha, a a ni daamu.

Hello everyone.. Abeg is Masters in Disability Mgt Studies a vital or good course to go for in Canada? How valuable is the Msc Disability Studies in terms of job/career prospects or employability in Canada?

The easy and objective way to find out is to type the degreee or your potential role with it on indeed.ca

The website will bring all job advert that match your search criteria. After the initial result, You can change the duration/dates to know past ad too.

With this you will know how many jobs require your degree or what degree is usually required for preferred role. You can also do the search every month or two weeks to understand how the market is changing. All the best.

Hello house please my company with no I.T background want to setup a new I.T department and they want me to head the department and also want me to go for a 1 year I.T diploma course in canada (c.i.m.t) to be precise and plan to go with my family my company promise to sponsor us all through the 1 year.

How do i convince the VO about the new career path?

Will they allow me move with my family as we will be back to nigeria after the course thats why we choose cimt cos they dont give pgwd?

I also seek for admission for sept but cimt offered me admission for may 2022 should i continue with this or ask them to move to sept to give time to process the study permit ?

If i start the process now can i get approval on or before may?

Your response will be appreciated
Thanks

Even we know say this story is likely Bobo not to talk of visa officers. The best way to show that you will come back is to leave your family behind. Just do yourself a favour and go for a PGWP program that is related your experience and or previous education. New department with whole family travelling story will be hard to sell.

If you want to press on, get a support letter from your organization to back your story and tell them to pay your tuition and transfer the full living and travel expenses for you and your family to your account. This is the hardest part and VOs are aaware. You are good if they can do it. All the best.

grin I don't think it's mandatory to explain how you got the money to pay tuition. Only an established person will likey pay his/her tuition. It could as well be savings and deposits from a long time ago. no need to be concerned as you said it's for tuition. so just pay the tuition and tender the receipts.

Persons should understand that POF can also achieved by a progressive build-up(savings and deposits) solely for the temporary visa application. As far, in no way these funds associated to being a borrowed amount or a loan(I'm not talking about study loans).

Been following this thread for a while, I have a little difficulty.
I got my money for tuition through 1xbet. How do I go about my source of funds? I am really confused.

I guess I'm just confused with the word "use"? How does an applicant pointedly use something or someone as home ties? Is it not that the IRCC would consider the totality of the information one provides and see which ones could form a home tie?

Please pardon my ignorance again. I've never filled an application before now.

Some in their eagerness to get visa state it categorically in their SOP that the spouse and kids will stay behind as home ties and later when they reach canada they apply for them.

yes, I recently did something like this few days ago on Indeed.ca . It appears to have multiple career opportunities. But I still don't know whether Disability Studies is actually specified on the Skilled Occupation List or not

17 weeks on the dot.

In January I sent a lot of emails and like three webforms. All I got was generic responses. I needed a decision because the last day to pay my 1st term fees or withdraw and be eligible for full refund (excluding deposit of $1000) was on the 28th. My program doesn't do deferral but they said they could assure us of a readmission for fall term, we would only have to pay the application fee of $100 but we won't have to pay a deposit of $1000 again because it would be moved to fall. Like 4 of my course mates (1 Nigerian and 3 Indians) too this offer and withdraw and I was tempted to take this offer too; but my sister (my sponsor) said no, I should have faith (funny thing she is not a believer of faith, and she is very logical and basis her decisions on concrete facts and not hope). I paid my fees on the last day (I sent the fee receipt payment through a webform) and continued with the program online. Everyone was online including domestic students because of the Omicron variant. But they resumed in-person/hybrid 2 weeks ago. And believe me, I thought online classes was bad, but hybrid is way worse. I didn't send any emails or webforms after January and I even applied for a remote job for a US company to keep me distracted (I got the job too, and resumed this week). I later decided to order for my gcms notes on the 4th of March, though I don't think it caused my decision to arrive 2 weeks after. I got my PPR without them even asking me for an updated LOA to ensure I was still enrolled.

My background
Bsc in Architecture from University of Nigeria (UNN)
Program in Canada: Masters in Digital Media from Ryerson University (I explained I was focusing on Virtual and Augmented Reality in my sop, I will post my sop draft here for anyone who needs inspiration. Please inspiration, do not copy exactly)
3+ year work experience in architecture and construction (was never a full time worker, only during nysc, was always an independent contracted designer, submitted my last contract).

I will post my documents shortly, my new boss keeps sending tasks to do.
